“Decent place if you're on a budget.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012 via mobile

Normally we stay at the Hilton or one of the Mariott's but went with this hotel since we were organizing a group & budget was a factor. The rooms were 'ok' - double beds, could use upgrading to something a little softer. The pool and hot tub really needed to be cleaned. Most of the staff at the desk were friendly with the exception of one who was not capable of making changes so that the two rooms we booked were joining, even though no one was in it yet. On a positive note, the falls could be seen from our balcony.

You get what you pay for and if you want to have fun at the falls and have money left over to buy fudge, lol, this is a decent place to stay. Just skip the buffet across the road, it's terrible! But thats another review~

“Simple and clean. Great location.”

I did a lot of research before settling on a reasonably-priced hotel to spend an overnight in Niagara Falls in January.
Rates are lower in winter.
Comfort Inn was $72 for three people. A fine, run of the mill what you expect hotel — clean and quiet – and an excellent location with parking right outside for $12 Canadian a day. (all hotels charge parking). In the bitter cold, you can walk a few blocks to the falls and you are near restaurants, hotels and 2 casinos. (1 block away). I would definitely stay here again. Note: Fallsview is on all hotels and only special rooms on the more expensive (and taller) hotels actually have one. Don't bother paying extra.

Room Tip: As for something off the first floor to avoid road and car park noise.

“great location”

Good value and good location adjacent to many of the most expensive hotels in Niagara Falls. What you dont get is a "falls View" but get out a walk 100 yards and you are right on top of the "inclinator" down to Victoria Park. About 4 minutes to the Casino and 2 minutes to Embassy Suites.
No end of good places to explore for dining. The Keg, Appletons, and Vinni's among others just minutes away by foot. We zipped over to the Casino's $22.00 buffet with good food and lots of it.
The hotel staff, professional and friendly. Do be aware that parking is extra but that is reflected on the "Expedia" site. As for the boat launch also posted one can only wonder. The hotel is on top of the Niagara Escarpment.
So good hotel, great location, good value, friendly and professional. All that people need or should need.

Room Tip: Suites with hot tubs are fine.

“Okay to stay when price is a consideration”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

Rooms were fine, clean and beds were comfortable. A little strange to have 1 smoking room on a floor (the 6th) which resulted in the whole hall way smelling of old cigarette smoke. You would think they would have all the smokers in one area/floor. Luckily the smell didn't come in to the room.
The kids liked the indoor pool which broke up the evening.
The staff were nice. The breakfast was entirely missable. Kay who staffed the breakfast room is charming. Toast and jam, soft boiled eggs, 2 types of cereal, processed muffins and juice. But they did have decent coffee. If you get there between 8:45 and 9:00 don't expect to get a seat in the small cramped room.
Price was $69 on weekends plus parking which seems a bit of a rip off but I guess everyone charges for it there so it is no different than any of the bigger hotels across the way.

Room Tip: If you are a non smoker see if they have a floor without smoking rooms

“OK in a pinch”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

stayed at this place mid october 2011. Rooms were quite nice and the price was right but the mandatory extra charge for parking is a rip off. The breakfast experience was also disappointing.....the dining area was very small and the line-up to get in for breakfast was quite long.... we decided not to wait in line and ate at a breakfast place across the street. Next time I would source another place to stay.
