There is NO way this should be even close to a top 20 hotel for Niagara Falls. Yes, it is a little bit cheaper, but don't be fooled. I'm pretty easy going, and would have preferred to sleep in my tent in the rain. I've stayed in plenty of budget hotels, but this was still expensive. My wife got sick after the first night there and we asked for a refund for the second night we booked, but they refused. The room was clean, but smelled like stale cigarette smoke. It has furniture, but it is crammed into the room to the point that you can't sit at the table, the chairs are useless, but you can watch tv. We were welcomed to beer bottles sitting all around the courtyard and walkway. The breakfast was ok, but you had to take a tray back to your room where you had to eat in your lap because the table is unusable in the corner. It was very noisy and could hear people in all the rooms around us, and various noises from the plumbing, etc. With all the hotel options in Niagara Falls, spend a few extra dollars and get a place closer and give yourself peace of mind.

Pro: The room is well equipped with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and it is clean. The location is good for transit travel-not far from QE. The location appears to be safe.
Con: Booking.com does not charge your credit card as other booking agents do which causes some confusion, have Canadian money as there is an extra $5 charge for the exchange, the breakfast is very poor and there is a note on the door that there is a charge for juice. You will need to take it back to your room as there is no space to eat it there. Also for those who want to get going in the morning, breakfast is not until *AM. The walkway is very slippery.

Stayed here two nights based on the reviews on tripadvisor. This is a small older motel. Don't expect much in it's looks. It has free wifi, a refrig, coffeemaker and dishes and utensils and I think a microwave. They furnished an expanded continential breakfast which is located in a small room off the office. You fill your plate and have to take it back to your room to eat. Breakfast consists of hard boiled eggs, bread to toast, some fruit, different cereals, juice and some small sweet muffins or sweetrolls.

Cost per night which included 13% tax and AAA discount was $102 usd. It was a lot for this hotel, but hotels in the area are expensive. The location is in a small town not too far from the falls, but certainly not walkable to the Falls. The best part is the owner will drop you off anywhere in the Falls area and pick you up when you call her. She is very friendly and helpful. The small town has a couple of nice places to eat.

We stayed in a couple of Motel 6's on this trip that were nicer than this motel, but this one does have a few nice features: the shuttle service & the semi mini kitchen and staying in a small quiet town.

Maybe, we had unrealistic expectations or we were spoilt by our recent trip to Hampton Inn, Pittsburgh. We depended on the reviews and ratings on Trip Advisor to make a decision on which hotel to stay during our recent vacation in Niagara Falls, big mistake. Anyone can write anything and post it as a review and we found this out when we arrived at Niagara Parkway.
Dark, dingy, in need of a paint job. Chipped bath tub discolored toilet, very cramped and dark accomodations.
They offer free breakfast to guests. I saw the nook where the breakfast food is kept with pastry left out for flies to have a free for all. I never saw the breakfast area, so I assume you either take your breakfast to your room or sit in the parking lot.
When we went to speak to the person at the front desk we had to knock on a door and a barefooted, braless woman with uncombed hair came out to us. This further strenghtened our resolve not to stay there.
We were not staying there and went searching for alternative accomodatons for the duration of our stay.
My question to the Canadian authorities. Do you check these so called "motels/hotels to ensure they maintain even a minimum standard for guests spending their hard earned money?
