I had the worst check in experience at this hotel. Negative review based soley on this experience. It is like a zoo literally at check in and staff seem to lose their personal touch or any warmth. Did not honour deals as advertised. Attempted to discuss with management and had the most negative experience ever at a hotel. Manager was argumentative, sarcastic, uncaring, rude and condescending. Still considerng filing a complaint with the BBB as I still have the original advertisement they did not honour. Best thing about the hotel is the view, spacious rooms and restaurant-staff at the restaurant are warm and attentive and have good customer service skills. Service at front desk terrible especially considering it is a Hilton hotel. Internet and parking are expensive. Going to try other falls view hotels.

There are less expensive Hotels in the area but with a falls view room you can enjoy every minute of your stay. You can hear the falls from your room and the veiw is breath taking. Our room price included a breakfeast buffet that was very good and all you can eat. We didn't need to wast any time or money on Lunch. I have recommended it to anyone thinking about making the trip. The falls are something everyone should make the trip to see and feel. You can stand next to the falls and feel power of mother nature. Be sure to go on the maid of the mist boat trip. You will never forget it.

We used a Groupon to get away for the night... we got a Fallsview room with a $40 credit to the Keg restaurant for a very good price. Saved $25 by skipping the valet parking and self-parking at the casino which is half a block away and costs $5. We checked in around 5pm on a Sunday and the line was very slow moving, with no separate desk for Hilton Honors members like every other Embassy Suites we've stayed at. We are Hilton Diamond Members so we were upgraded to a Junior Presidential Suite on the 37th floor... the only difference I think was a higher floor, a jacuzzi tub, and a "fireplace"... which was a heater that had lights that looked sort of like a fire. The view was amazing, and the best thing about the room. We had a panoramic view of both the Canadian and American Falls. The room decor was a bit tired. The manager's reception was very crowded, hard to find a table, and the snacks were awful. We had dinner at the Keg Restaurant (made reservations a month before) and we were lucky to get a table right by the window overlooking the falls. It was beautiful, and the food was quite good. We made the mistake of going to the breakfast buffet around 9:30am (our own fault, we like to sleep in) and it was a nut house. So crowded, lots of lines for food that wasn't very good at all. Next time I would skip it and go somewhere else even if it is free.

Overall, I would probably stay here again because of the view if I got another great deal like this one, however, don't expect anything luxurious.

4 of us went for 2 nights weekend to Niagara, the hotel is a little bit pricey- almost a 1000 $ for 2 nights for 4 of us
the location is perfect -close to everything, especially morning walks to fall when there's not many people-priceless
breakfast was included- nothing special
the hotel itself is old, the rooms not realy nice -the view from room excellent
I don't think the trip was worth the money-next time will go to less expensive hotel because there's so much to do in Niagara including only few -Niagara on the lake , casino, vinery
