My husband and I stayed at the Inn By The Falls from September 21st-26th for our honeymoon and we had an amazing time.
I reviewed TONS of hotels online and through trip advisor before booking and was someone nervous about booking this hotel as it was such a good price, however, I went ahead and booked anyways...Glad I did.
When we arrived we had to check in through the Country Inn and Suites which is the hotel directly next door which shares the same parking lot and are owned by the same people. Check in was very prompt and all of the staff that we encountered were very friendly. The one thing that they do not tell you when you are booking your reservation is that parking is extra...it costs $6.00 per day..HOWEVER, with that being said once you are there for a few days you will soon realive that you cannot go ANYWHERE in Niagara Falls without paying to park, and the $6.00 per night was a good price.
The hotel offers a contental breakfast through the Country Inn and Suites at an addition cost for Inn by the Falls guests of $6.00 and it is def. worth it as it is a hot and cold buffet. You are also given a key for the Country Inn and Suites to access all of there vending machines, ice machines and pool which is an added bonus.
We stayed in a room that had the heart shaped jacuzzi tub which is def. worth the extra money. The rooms were very clean, spacious and fairly up to date. Always an adequate amount of linens as well. Each room has a back door with access to a back patio as well which has a nice view of the Casino and Fallsview Indoor Waterpark.
This hotel is within walking distance to EVERYTHING you could ever want to do in Niagara Falls..Its is about a 3-4 minute walk from Clifton Inn which is the entertainment district of the Falls and you will find everything there you could ever need...and the hotel is only about 7-8 minutes (walking) from the Falls. We parked our car at the hotel and were able to walk to do just about everything that we wanted to do.
The only downside to staying in Niagara Falls is the cost of food. I think that we spent just as much on recreation stuff as we did on food during the week that we were there...the food is def. well overpriced however, they can do it because everyone needs to eat. So don't eat to much fast food before you go away because it will def. be your best friend when you are there.
Take advantage of all the combination packages that are offered for different events because they are def. worth it as it saves you about 10-20 dollars per person each one you do!
All in all it was an amazing honeymoon and the only bad thing I can say is the cost of food!
