The Villager Lodge on Lundy's Lane is the best bargain in Niagara Falls Canada area. It was clean, quiet area, front desk was very helpfull, the price was very reasonable, swimming pool looked clean and inviting, didn't use it or the barbecue area but it was a nice addition especially for families. The bus which was priced reasonable, ran right in front to take you to town if you didn't want to take your car as parking is a problem. Since the bathroom looked like it was recently done over, I think that it is being updated. Even the air conditioner was placed so that it didn't blow right on you and was quiet.
Past bad reviews hopefully are in the past. Go for it!

Spent one night here while on a girls weekend with my daughters and we did not feel safe here at all. Yes the furniture was very dated but I can look past that, I was just looking for a clean place to sleep. We had a knock on the door with someone inquiring if this was someone else's room at 11 PM and then another knock at 6 in the morning for the same reason - very drunk and shifty people. Now I understand that people can get confused, the doors all look the same but seeing the pile of empty beer bottles stacked outside the door of the room next to us when we arrived should have tipped me off that I probably didn't want my daughters to stay here. The constant comings and goings (you can hear everything through the walls...) and fighting going on in the next room had us packing our things by 6:30 just to get the heck out of there. Never again!

Stayed 3 nights here and debated to say due to price and some reviews. But I must say it was clean, my room was valued @ a great price and everything was near by the falls was a bit away but that was fine we were near the QEW and was easy for us to navigate around. Beds were made every day and clean towels provided to us. Customer service was excellent will stay again

Stayed here with a bunch of friends for one night (Aug 14) We were on a stag night. We arrived at around 2PM, checked in and proceded to hang out at the pool. The staff were friendly and the whole place was clean. Sure, the building is old and could probably do with being renovated, but if you want a clean cheap place to party with a pool and good attitude from the staff, this is the place. One other plus for pet owners, we noticed that they do allow pets.
