“clean but cool hot tub non working sauna”

For the location Lundys lane being known for trashy strip clubs and prostitution being run from manyof the hotel rooms the place is clean and free from bugs. It has no mini fridge or microwave but it is one of the most decent motels on the road.11o.oo for 2 nights. Not bad at all.Free wireless internet. Great.

“Good value for your money”

This hotel might be older but it has all the necessary amenities in working condition and at $49 a night the price was right. This price also included breakfast ( albeit a rather basic one: a selection of toast, bagel, muffin, hard boiled eggs, and fruit).

“just ok”

the desk clerk was very friendly.
We came to visit the falls and realized we were too far away esp considering the amount of road construction going on in that area. Hopefully that won't take too long.
The room was fairly clean but the sink was so old that it had hundreds of cracks in it therefore impossible to keep clean. It appeared to be filthy.
I did not like the sign in the bathroom that states that the maid would take inventory as soon as we left. I felt that was very tacky.
Overall would not recommend.

“Good Pricing, Clean Room, Free Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 April 2012

Hey it was cheap, had free wifi (Larger Higher classed hotels charged $12.95/day) , was clean, the bed was soft and comfy....no bugs and quiet! I really can't complain about it, but I do have to mention the gap under the door of #138 where the weather stripping was missing. My husband had to place a rolled up towel against the door to stop the draft from coming through.
The free breakfast was ok but the time was a bit hurried being only 6:30am-9:30am only.
I'd still recommend it and still go back again. Its close to great restaurants, Tim Hortons and 7 minutes to the Falls. What more do you really need??

“Lacking maintenance and housekeeping”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 April 2012

My wife and I stayed here for two nights off season at a great rate. The hotel was worth the price, but not a lot more. We selected this hotel over others at a similar price because of the hot tub. The first night, it never worked, in spite of the clerk's assurance when we checked in at 3:30 pm that it would be up to temperature in a couple of hours after routine cleaning. The second night, it was so hot that no one could go in it. We advised the desk, and it was down to about 102 degrees by closing time - still marginally unsafe. A piece of used food remained in the hallway in front of the elevator during our entire stay. Several items were out at breakfast, and the staff finally refilled them - just as the hours for breakfast were over.

Our room was ok, clean enough, and the bed was comfortable. Dated appliances, furninshings and fixtures, but everything worked. The staff was very friendly, but not effective in getting problems taken care of.

Located in the Lundy's Lane tourist area, there is an outlet mall right across the street, and several chain-ish restaurants nearby. When we were there, it took quite a while to get to the Falls, due to construction at the intersection of Lundy's Lane and Drummond Rd. Save some time by going a different route.

Decent value at a low enough price, but if it isn't rock bottom cheap, you can do better. They're trying to cut too many corners.
