We visited Niagara falls several times this year...This time we decided to stay closer to the hub of the falls...
This is the place to be....close to everything, we never needed to take our car out, as everything was within walking distance.
We will definite go back

Very central location, although rooms a bit dated, still good value if you dont mind the glitzy location, ala Las Vegas style.
Clean rooms, and friendly staff, and within easy walking distance to the falls which is great considering the lack of parking around. The noise is not too bad and quietens down at midnight, considering the cost, location a fair deal even including discount coupons for a local restaurant. Breakfast the usual American starch loading

We visit Niagara Falls several times a year sometimes with our teenagers, sometimes without. This last visit I knew that I didn't feel like walking a distance to the attractions so even though we have walked past the Travelodge a million times I always seemed a little afraid to stay there because of the noise and traffic. While pricing hotels on line they seemed to offer the best price so I figured why not take a chance. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised as the room was very clean and had everything we needed, fridge, microwave, etc. We were only there 5 minutes before the phone rang and the front desk called to make sure we had everything was sufficient. I have stayed at other brand name hotels that are located further from the falls and to put it honestly they have been disgusting. Plus the travelodge offered free parking where the other hotels charge you $10 on top of the price of the room. The staff was always plesant and helpful, the location was perfect, and the room was good. Niagara falls is expensive enough without paying a fortune for a room because lets face it, how much time do you spend in there other than to sleep. If you are looking for a quiet hide away then no this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for a reasonable price, clean room, close to the attractions then this is the hotel to stay at. I told my husband we will be staying here from now on.

I must confess that I am not a great fan of Niagara Falls but having, for work reasons, been there about 20 times I feel I have gotten to know the area quite well. If you want to be smack bang in the middle of all the activity of Clifton Hill you probably could do much worse. The area is filled with non-stop lights and noise so if that is what you are after the hotel is very well located. The rooms are starting to be quite dated but they are reasonably cheap and quiet. The hotel also offers free parking and wifi which was much appreciated.

The breakfast is largely non existent but at least you can have a bagel or cereal to get you going.

I would probably recommend either of the Sheraton's or the Embassy suites as you can get a view of the falls from there (which really are magnificent). But if you are on a budget this isn't a bad choice.
