“If you find parking during tourist season you're lucky!”

The rooms were fine, the breakfast was nice..the main plus is that it's so close to everything that you can walk....if you move your car good luck finding another parking space in their lot..oh yeah and I believe they like many other hotels charge for parking, becaus ethe lots for some odd reason are owned by the City..not by the hotels.

Niagara Falls is a "tourist" destinaiton, so bring your wallet and make sure it is loaded with cash...nothing is inexpensive here expect the cheaply made t-shirts.....I have lived in Ontairo all my life (48 years) and never ben to Niagara Falls..now been there done that, won;t be going back.

Room Tip: we enjoyed our stay although there was a teenage girls volley ball team on the same floor...which wa...

“What a deal!”

Priceline had this for $47 per night for a Friday night stay. It was not "Name Your Own Price", but Priceline's regular listed price. The Days Inn web site was $66. Priceline mentioned that there was an $8 parking fee, but when we arrived, the hotel waived the fee. Use your GPS to find the hotel, as there are several Days Inns. Location was great. Room was clean and spacious. We arrived late for breakfast and they were just cleaning up. They did offer us some doughnuts to go. If you're looking for something cheap, this is perfect.

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to Clifton Hill and other area attractions. The location was fantastic, we were walking distance to just about everything we wanted. The hotel also has a continental breakfast which is bare minumum, but we aren't picky people so it did the trick. I got to the hotel at 12:30, given I had seen they weren't sold out the night before I asked nicely if I could check-in early. I couldn't be checked-in at 12:30, I was told there was nothing clean, however I gave them the cash for my room and also got the surprise of a charge for parking. I came back at 2 and was told I couldn't get in (which is check-in time), I was also told the same at 3, and again at 4. That was the point where I was going to need to talk to a manager. The manager/supervisor, offered me a jacuzzi suite as a coplimentary upgrade...that's where the fun started. When we got up to the room I instantly noticed dings on the furniture, spots on the carpets, a small old television, fingerprints on the mirrors above the bed...yes there were mirrors above the bed...this room was more like fear and loathing than a suite. There was no shower... you were expected to only use the jacuzzi tub to clean yourself, which happened to be conveniently located in the middle of the floor with no curtains...or shower, just a hand held nozzle. To call this room a suite was a joke, there was no fridge, no sitting area, nothing that would merit the title of a suite. The front desk staff was unaware they were in the hospitality businees, never a greeting when walknig through the lobby, not so much as a nod. The only front desk person that was decent was the younger bearded gentleman at night. And the only place in the hotel the wireless worked was in the lobby... If I come to the area again I would definitely look elsewhere, but if need be, I would stay at this hotel again.

“Great location and good value !”

My family and I stayed here in August of 2010 and it was our first trip to Niagara Falls. The hotel was within walking distance of the Falls and the bridge that took us to the New York side of Niagara Falls which was great, because the streets seemed to be crowded with lots of cars. Our room was nothing special, we hardly spent any time in the room. The Wi-Fi didn't seem to work very well and the parking lot which is underground was dark and not very inviting. I think they could invest in more lighting in the parking lot, but I was with my husband and teenage sons, so I felt safe in the dark parking lot. Because the hotel was so close to everything, once we parked our car, we didn't drive until it was time for us to go home. We purchased a package deal that included free breakfast at Applebees every morning of our stay and we received a voucher for $30.00 off lunch/dinner at Applebees or a free dinner for two at the steakhouse next door, my husband and I went to the steakhouse and we really enjoyed our food. We didn't realize that all the restaurants were so pricey, even Wendy's and Denny's, were expensive. We have stayed in Manhattan and other pricey areas, but we were really shocked at the food prices, but we found that Pizza Hut was reasonably priced and within walking distance of the hotel and that is what our kids ate when my husband and I went to the steakhouse. Overall we enjoyed our stay, check-in was quick, they have an indoor pool that my kids enjoyed and we would definitely stay here again !

“Friendly and Walking distance to the Falls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2011

My partner and I stayed at the Days In Fallsview for one night in July. It was an excellent choice. The Woman named Pat at the front desk was extremely friendly professional and helpful.
The room was clean, well appointed and absolutely sufficient for someone that is there mainly to get out and see the falls. We were not prepared to pay for a hotel that had a view of the falls from our window but it was very nice to have the falls within walking distance.
The other great thing about the days inn is that they are somehow affiliated with another hotel called the oaks so you are allowed to visit the special falls viewing area of the oaks hotel across the street. There you have a million dollar view of the falls and can sit in a comfy chair above it all. We visited the viewing area several times throughout the day and the only time that it became a bit crowded was during the fireworks display.

The days in Guests are also allowed to use the indoor pool and spa at the Oaks but I actually preferred the small outdoor pool at the Days inn itself. In winter I'm sure I would prefer the pool at the Oaks.

The Days inn was a good comfortable choice and we would definitely stay there again.
