“Friendly and Walking distance to the Falls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2011

My partner and I stayed at the Days In Fallsview for one night in July. It was an excellent choice. The Woman named Pat at the front desk was extremely friendly professional and helpful.
The room was clean, well appointed and absolutely sufficient for someone that is there mainly to get out and see the falls. We were not prepared to pay for a hotel that had a view of the falls from our window but it was very nice to have the falls within walking distance.
The other great thing about the days inn is that they are somehow affiliated with another hotel called the oaks so you are allowed to visit the special falls viewing area of the oaks hotel across the street. There you have a million dollar view of the falls and can sit in a comfy chair above it all. We visited the viewing area several times throughout the day and the only time that it became a bit crowded was during the fireworks display.

The days in Guests are also allowed to use the indoor pool and spa at the Oaks but I actually preferred the small outdoor pool at the Days inn itself. In winter I'm sure I would prefer the pool at the Oaks.

The Days inn was a good comfortable choice and we would definitely stay there again.

I want to thank Kathy for the exceptional treatment our family coming from Orlando in one of my ATC buses had.
verything was booked, rooms were splendid... I cannot say 1 thing but wow.. what a professional and courteous attention we received in this hotel.
The best of the many we use in our trip from Orlando to Niagara, and then back to Orlando.7 Days.
Highly recommended.

“Avoid this place if you can, hotel in a bad condition.”

We stayed at the Days Inn for one night on our road trip while visiting Niagara Falls in July 2011.

We were at the falls on a regular weekday in July 2011 but it was really crowded in the hotel. Whether it was due to the enormous amount of visitors or the heat, the service was really lacking quality. We didn't except a lot for a two star hotel, but the main basics are a rule for our measure. The front office staff was rude and had to put us into a smoking room which we found really aweful, but they could not switch us as all the non-smoking rooms were occupied. I suppose it was our 'bad luck' that we came in late (07.00pm). They did not offer us anything in reward, we didn't expect a free stay or whatever, but nothing from their side was a lame gesture. When we entered the room it was 'so-so' with the smell, we dropped our luggage and went walking towards the falls. When we later on got back to our room, really tired, we had to find out there were blood stains on the tissue box and down on the mirror of the bathroom. Again, we didn't expect any marble or whatever, but a basic clean room is the one thing you want.

As we were tired we went to bed feeling unhappy. In the morning we made a complaint about it and wanted to go for breakfast, however their was a giant line of people waiting for breakfast and place was a giant mess. We didn't want to sit in that mess of cornflages, half eaten bagels and milkdrups all over so we decided quickly to pack our bags and tried to get out of the place. Unluckily we were on the 7th top floor and they only have one elevator which is extremely slow, so as we were on a roadtrip with a few suitcases it took us 15 minutes to get everything down... We were glad we got out of the place in the end.

So for anyone trying to find a nice hotel in the area we suggest to just spend some extra 25 dollars on a 3 star hotel or try one of the other 2 star hotels.

Room Tip: Ask explicit for a NON-smoking room if you don't smoke and a room on the lower floors.

“REALLY NICE PLACE”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 June 2011

We stayed at the Days Inn in Niagara Falls for 2 nights and it was really nice. The room was clean and the service desk girls were really nice and helpful.
In the morning they had a breakfast with toast bagels cereal juices and coffee/it was enough to give you a head start on the day. The only weird thing was alot of peoplewere taking alot of food back to their rooms. When I say alot I mean toast like 10-12 pieces bagels with the bagful.....I do not know why they do that.
the breakfast room was small and if you were late you had to stand and eat because some people were having a long chat not caring about others.
The walk to the falls was about 30 minutes but it was enjoyable because of all the stores and activities going on along the way.
We had a late dinner like 11 pm at Kelseys and sat outside on their terrace and it was really enjoyable.watcing all the people going by
The falls were really nice and the maid of the mist seemed to go really close to the falls and we really got soaked. i am comparing the ride to others years prior.
Overall the hotel is nice and it is a really good location
We would still stay there again/ Only drawback was no fridge in the room

“Stay away”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 June 2011

I can't tell you how unwelcoming the entire front staff was. They absolutely did not care. I was told $ 134 at the time of reservation and when i reached there I was slapped with $ 187. I had to just pay that as i had kids with me and did not have the time to find another hotel. The room was fair to average. Too much noise and the breakfast was disgusting. I dont know why they even serve that. You need good metronidazole tablets to combat the subsequent diarrhea. In one word a disgusting place but hey I did not believe that negative reviews written by prior guests but please you guys dont make the same mistake of staying in this place as I did.
