My wife and I stayed at this hotel in January. The room we had was in the North Tower and was very nice. It was large, had two bedrooms, a jucuzzi tub, fantastic view (we were on a high floor) and very comfortable. We did not ask for an upgrade in the room only to be in the North Tower because it is either newer or upgraded.

We dined at the restaurant in the South Tower, which had a great view, the meal was okay but pricey due to the view.

One of the nice things about this hotel is you can walk through an overhead path to the casino and never have to go outside.

My suggestions would be to (1) pay the upgrade for the North Tower, I understand the other two towers are a bit dated and that is why I only did a four star and (2) go to the steak house in the hotel versus the one in the south tower because I think it is overpriced, expecially if you have a room towards the top of one of the towers already.

Great service and great rooms get a room with a view of the falls if you can its worth the extra cost. great front desk staff and Carol the front desk Manager is super give her a call before you go and tell her that Reggie told you about the hotel.

First of all I was able to book a room on one of the many promotional tickets i.e. discounted room with a food voucher. Basically the deal stated that for an original value of $334 you could get it for $139. This valuation was heavily weighted in favour of a $75 voucher to use in the Watermark restaurant.

So here is the real deal and this happened this Friday past. Arrived at 4:00PM and car was wisked away from me to be valet parked (at a cost of $25 plus 15% TAX YES I REPEAT 15 % tax 13% HST and a 2% TIF tax fee- more on that later. We had requested a smoke free room with a view of the falls. The room was clean but smelly and it was pretty obvious that this was a smoking suite given the number of burns in the carpet throughout. Although newer in construction the room was tired with areas where the paint had flaked of and chips and bangs also apparent. Armed with a $75 voucher we immediately tried to reserve the Watermark restaurant. No joy until 10:00PM so that was abandoned. So we tried the Brasa Brazilian restaurant again no joy. So we had to settle for the Macaroni Restaurant. at least there was room but this too is overly priced for what they serve. A kid s meal (bowl of cheese macaroni a drink and a bowl of ice cream is $13 plus 13% HST and then 2 % TIF pretty expensive if you ask me. To cut to the chase we had 2 meals as well which were grossly overpriced for the quality, no drinks and a bill for $78 plus 15% tax on top.

When we checked out we had another bill for $140 or so plus 15% ie HST plus this TIF tax they add in Niagara falls we believe TIF stands for TOTALLY IDIOTIC FARCICAL tax but they just know it as a additional gouging fee.

Our recommendations are if you want to stay at the hotel then park elsewhere and save a bundle on that plus do not eat there. But understand you will be paying top dollar for an average room

Just stayed here on Jan. 25 2012. Staff was Great, rooms were clean. I stayed in a whirlpool fallsview suite. The view is amazing right acroos from falls. Beds were very comfortable. The lobby is usually very busy at any given time. The only thing that bothered me was that the room didnt come with a fridge and microwave, and even being a gold member I had to pay.
