“Best Breakfast in Niagara Falls”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

This was a one night stay to see a show at the Fallsview Casino. We had a city view room on the 15th floor which was spacious and clean and somewhat dated. A Fallsview room is a $30.00 upgrade. We have been in Niagara Falls at least 20 nights in the last few years and did not mind to not be able to see the Falls from our room.
The bathroom setup was nice; it had an additional counter outside of the bathroom which allows one person to finish make-up or grooming while the other person is showering.
The hotel also provides coffee and tea in the room. I mention this because it was good coffee and we were able to take it with us(paper cups and lids) on our way home.
We had purchased this room through a travel website that offers deals in Niagara all the time.
For $119 plus tax we got a room, free shuttle(to 9pm), 2 alcoholic drinks, 2 free breakfasts, $25 towards dinner and $25 towards lunch. The restaurant is on the second floor and some seats overlook the falls; it is a Milestone's. The dinner was good, the red wine was good. The service was excellent and breakfast was out of this world(for Niagara Falls anyway)
The choices on the buffet were. Variety of juices and teas; coffee, milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, oatmeal porridge, blueberries, 2 types of melon, water melon, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, granola, cereals, buns and muffins and pastries, scrambled eggs, sausages, fine bacon, ham, cold cuts, raisins, cranberries, cinnamon sugar, french toast and more stuff I can't remember - also an omelet station for custom eggs or omelets.
I don't eat any grains and usually have a hard time at a breakfast buffet, but not this one.
We had to skip lunch. Parking is $20 - Valet $25
Walking to the casino is about 10 minutes.
It is the second Marriott on the street when you come in from Murray Avenue; the First Marriott was kind enough to tell us before we got out of our car.
Also there are renovations being done, but they did not affect our stay in a negative way.
Will not hesitate to come here again.

“Beautiful View of the Fall”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

people found this review helpful

Location: There is 2 Marriott on Fallview boulevard, right across the street from each other ,which is a bit confusing. The hotel is located at the end of Fallview blvd. It's about 8min walk to Fallview casino and 25 min walk to Cliffton Hills. There was no direct route down to the fall, so close yet so far away.... We had to walk north toward Murray street, then walk east toward the fall, approximately 15min walk.

Hotel: The hotel lobby was still in construction, so, there wasn't much to comment on. There is a Milestone and Starbuck at the hotel. Milestone is open for lunch and dinner. Breakfast would be a great addition to the menu. I stop at Starbuck to get a latte before heading out. The girl at the counter was a bit cranky....tough day I guess.

Room: I got a fall-view room, perfect view of the American and Canadian falls. The view was awesome. 5 stars. Room was clean. Furniture was abit old, the couch have seen better days.

Parking is $20/night.

“Lobby is under renovation, otherwise good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

This was my first time staying at a 4 star in Niagra Falls, hotel is under renovation. Had to pay an extra 30$ to get Fallside view (which was awesome!) and 20$ for parking.

This hotel is mostly worth it for the view, otherwise, not very different from the 3 stars I've been in...

also, the gentelman at the front desk was super nice, gave a luxurious feeling to all the non luxurious renovations! Might check it out again in a few months once renovations are done.

Room Tip: Its got to be Fallside!! but it costs and extra 30$/night

“Nice Weekend Getaway.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

We went to the Marriott on the weekend of Jan. 20/12. Had a very quick check in and the front desk clerk gave up passes for the shuttle, as I had only paid for the room and had no extras. They were renovating in the lobby but it should look very nice when it is completed. We had the breakfast buffett on Saturday morning and it was excellent. They have an omlette bar which was great. Had dinner at Milestones in the evening. Food and service were both great. It was a wonderful weekend and we will return again. There is only one thing that we were not happy about. Their toiletries were all an orange ginger scent. I think that they should offer regular soap that is not scented as we were allergic to the products.

“Enjoyable Stay for a Conference”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

Had a 3 night stay here for a conference in November 2011. I understand the hotel had been recently renovated and they did a great job! Rooms were spacious and well appointed. My room wasn't facing the falls, but it would have been a spectacular view on the higher floors. The gym was clean and well equipped. There is a Starbucks in the lobby of the hotel, as well as a Milestones on the second floor. It's a bit of a walk to the actual falls and "city centre" but I imagine in the summer it wouldn't be so bad.
