“Not impressed”

Had bought a dealfind voucher for a whirlpool room and $90 worth of restaurant vouchers. Went there on a Friday in January after making a reservation with the number listed on the voucher. Arrived to find out there were no whirlpool rooms left so the girl helping us phoning the Sheraton Four Points to maybe find us a room there, unfortunately they were booked as well. We asked why we bothered to make a reservation and asked to have our reservation cancelled without charge to try another time, after speaking with the manager (Bryan Delbianco) we had achieved our goal. We ate and stayed somewhere else for the night...and on that note I will also be writing a review for the restaurant (The Office) in St. Catharines we ate at because it was delicious and saved the night from being a big disappointment.

We then phoned back the next morning to ask what our options were and see if there were any rooms for that evening, we again were told they were already booked for the 'dealfind rooms' which means they have plenty of other rooms available of the same caliber but for a higher price. Anyways, we were told to phone the Sheraton Four Points to see if they had any rooms and when we did we spoke with a very rude woman on the phone who insisted 'why the hell would we be able to transfer the voucher to here', we gave up on her pretty quickly. We contacted the Ramada again and eventually spoke with the same manager (Bryan Delbianco) and explained our situation, he said he would phone us back in a bit to let us know if he could do anything for us. He did not phone us back so we gave up and went home.

A few weeks later we again tried to get a room but we phoned ahead as to not waste our time, sure enough 'the dealfind voucher rooms are full'. So when the voucher expires this week we will be left with a $90 Ramada voucher towards a room without the $90 in restaurant vouchers that were originally included. Let's just say we were very disappointed and a lot of our time and effort was wasted, we will never purchase a hotel voucher again.

“Travel Jaunt to Ramada turned out well”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

Citiview Room was clean. Easy check-in and check-out even easier since, they popped the bill under the door and charged it to the card unless otherwise informed. Our stay was due to a Travel Jaunt purchase on-line. It included coupons for the Outback steakhouse, IHOP and shuttles to the casino. Food and service was good at the Steakhouse but, had to wait an hour due to the coupon usage. Recommend taking a shuttle to the Steakhouse since parking is not plentiful near the restaurant. Fallsview casino a short walk away. IHOP in the hotel but, very pricey. Breakfast for two was $48.00 and this was with a $10 credit. An organge was almost $5.00 alone but the coffee comes in a carafe for two for 7.98.Would not use this coupon again. Would stay at this hotel again. Shuttle ran every half hour at the 20 after and 10 to the hour. We went to the Fallsview Casino which was a pleasant way to spend the evening. Only stayed for one night but was a nice night away from humdrum.

Room Tip: They have King bed rooms that you can upgrade too. I think that these rooms had Jacuzzi. They are of...

“There must be something better than this.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

Other than the fact the hotel lost my reservation, because of a credit card error and decided to cancel my reservation without notice, and the fact that my husband and I received a room with 2 double beds instead of a king like we requested, this wasn't such a bad trip. But that could be because we went with 4 other couples we made the night fun.

The IHOP sucks! I would never go back horrible service!

“Nothing to complain about!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

I kept reading the reviews and I was really worried about what to expect. I booked in November and the price was fantastic ( with all the coupons - I may as well have stayed for free). January is hockey tournament time in Niagara Falls - so I expected a lot of kids and parties. I just asked to be put on a quieter floor. I don't mind paying for parking and $12.00 is not unreasonable. Check in was 4 pm. and I arrived at 1:30pm. .. my King bed room was not ready but they had the (two) queen ready. I said sure. There were 3 people working the counter and every check in takes about 7 minutes (this is normal). My room was newly renovated, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean and updated and it had enough towels and its own heater. Coffee maker and blow dryer, 32" panel, a desk, chair and huge closet!!! The free shuttle worked out great. The Keg coupon was a bonus, I did not bother with IHOP (not a fan) and the Dave and Busters was a entertaining. Had a nice visit.

“Good value with couple drawbacks”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

Good value, especially with groupon style deals.

Room looks good at first glance. King size bed with comfy looking whirlpool tub. Room is well stocked with supplies as expectd in a modern hotel.

Tub had obviously been abused with many scratches. Mirror at entrance was broken across the bottom. Bed turned out to be a little on the soft side. Biggest issue was noise - some kind of pipe noise constantly throughout the night and room obviously had no soundproofing at the door as we could hear everything that went on in the hallway.
