Our 3 night stay at the Old Stone Inn was fantastic !!! Great Inn, Great service and Great staff. Our room was clean, stocked and super cosy. The staff were super friendly, down to earth, and even humorous. The pool was refreshing, and dinner on our last night, in the dinning room... OMG... where shall I begin ??!!!!! It was fantastic !!! Fabrikka Symphony & Prime Rib.. Our ceasar salad was made fresh at our table and the dressing was also made fresh..Absolutely wonderful !! Many thanks to John, Karen and Neil for making our Get away special. We'll Be Back :) Happy New Years.

The Old Stone in is in a quiet area of Niagara Fall, but less than a 5 minute walk to the falls and Clifton Street. It is just one block from the Fall Casino. The restaurant and fireside lounge were exceptional. Great place to stay and eat a romantic dinner.

My family and I have stayed at the Old Stone Inn in November 2011. We reserved 3 "nicer rooms" with Queen beds. Unfortunately, the rooms were disappoiting. The rooms are heated with heaters that are noisy. None of us were able to maintain a constant room temperature using them. At the lowest intensity, they turned the rooms into saunas and turned off, the rooms were cold, so we all had to turn them on and off throughout the night.

The staff at the front desk was also quite rude and talked to us in a way that was simply unacceptable. Finally, we had issued some very specific instructions with respect to billing. We did not want some of the guests to pay for their rooms. We were told that nothing could be done to help us in that regard. The rooms could not be prepaid and the only solution offered was to try to beat the guests down stairs in the morning to pay the rooms before they did. We were eventually able to come to an agreement with the front on how the billing would be handled. That arrangement was simply ignored and the next morning, upon discovering that some of our gustes had paid for their rooms themselves, we were rudly told by the fornt desk that it was not their problem and there was nothing they could do about it.

I will not go back.

First of all, this inn is beautiful. When you first walk into The Old Stone Inn, you are taken back into time. It is full of historical images and the architecture is like non other.
We checked in around 3pm and had no issues. The room was on the 3rd floor (which we were told were the "nicer rooms") with a queen bed.

We came back to the room around 10:30pm and were ready for a good night's sleep.
Unfortunately, around 11pm the people next door to us came back from a wedding. The reason we know they were back from a wedding, was because we could hear them PERFECTLY.
We called down to the lobby and the staff were very kind and understanding.

The one staff member came up with a new room key and took us down the hall to another room with a king sized bed.
Again, the room was gorgeous, but again, we could hear the people next to us when they came back at 3am.

If you stay here, make sure you have a heater/fan. This definitely helped to drown out the noise.

To be honest, we would not stay here again.
So unfortunate for such a beautiful hotel and lovely staff.
