“Always the best”

We stayed at the Marriott Niagara Falls from December 25th to December 27th. As always, we received a warm welcome at the Front Desk. Our room was perfect for our family, and dinner at the Terrapin Grill was excellent! We love staying ay this hotel because of the service we receive and the lovely rooms they have. Next time you're visiting Niagara Falls, try booking a room here.

“Great view...wonderful hotel!!”

This is the first winter experience in Niagara Falls, after years of only going in the summer. It was beautiful in winter and not at all crowded. It only makes sense getting a fallsview room though, so you can see the falls from the warmth and comfort of your room.
The room: We feel we had an upgraded room with a separate den and a wonderful view of the horseshoe and American falls. This Marriott room was really clean, and didn’t look dingy or old (like some other Niagara falls room) in any way. Loved it.
Breakfast: Our package came with a buffet breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant. Lots of great selection, made to order eggs/omelettes. Pancakes, waffles, fruit, etc. A very good hearty breakfast. The service was absolutely excellent. We had the same waitress both mornings, and have to say she was spectacular.
Dining voucher: We also received a $40.00 dining voucher for the same hotel restaurant. First, this restaurant is WAY overpriced, so we didn’t bother to go, but found out we could use the same voucher for room service. This is where it gets ridiculous. We ordered two desserts, cheesecake and a pear crepe (both were not good) and a can of gingerale. Believe it or not, the bill came to $38.88. That was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. Therefore, the voucher was used up.
Overall: We loved this hotel. The staff everywhere in the hotel greeted us and made us feel welcomed. That goes a long way.
Other tips: Request the highest floor possible. The higher you are the better the view.
If you’re cost conscious, don’t bother using the valet parking at the hotel. It was $20.00+ for the day, as opposed to the casino. We spent $10.00 for the ENTIRE weekend (depends how often you move your car).
The CAA light festival isn’t really that big of a deal. Perhaps if you have kids, otherwise, paying for it not worth it. Just look at the free displays near and around the falls was good enough.
It can get quite cold down there, especially if walking by the falls. Come fully prepared with your winter gear so you can walk around comfortably.

Room Tip: Request the highest floor possible to get a really good view of both the horseshoe and American fall...

“Very good stay; excellent location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

My partner and I spent one night at this hotel, where I had been before several times, mainly due to its convenient location, less than 500 m from the Fallsview Casino. Check-in was competent though slightly impersonal, and pleasant considering it is understandably less busy in February. I recommend choosing a high-floor fallsview room to guarantee a nice view, using the Marriott website to avoid any misunderstandings. Indeed, our king room with a huge double Jacuzzi (located in the large bathroom equipped with a frosted glass double window that can be opened, so you can sit while looking out the hotel window) had an absolutely perfect view of the Canadian falls, which was more pleasant to admire thanks to the two armchairs and small table. An electric fireplace and what appears to be a recently updated contemporary decor made our stay very pleasant, as well as small details such as real hangers in the closet, sufficient storage, a large LCD television, an easily accessible safe and a minibar containing beer. My partner was delighted with the stay, and that was my main goal!

Room Tip: Choose a high-floor fallsview room to ensure an unobstructed view of the falls. Reserve using the Ma...

“Wow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Check in was speedy and friendly, rooms spacious and very clean.

Open the curtains and Wow, the view of the falls from the 23rd floor is breathtaking.

Valet parking at $25/day is good value when you consider it will cost you $10 to park in the Clifton Hill area of Niagara, by the time the car arrived from the parking area the valets had cleared the car of most of the snow and the car was warm and ready to go, the valets worked hard in some awful weather conditions.

Breakfast is served in the Terrapin Grill with terrific views over the falls.

The staff go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one, if we are ever back in Niagara we will use the hotel again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a high floor.
