We stayed for three nights at a deluxe suite. This deluxe suite offers no view other than the back of CIBC. The windows look out to the roof of the entrance of its conference centre. It had green moss and many cigarette butts. We are not impressed.
On top of that, there was a wedding dinner and dance on the Saturday. Our room was directly above the centre. The noise and vibration were felt and heard throughout the evening… we even heard the DJ announcements. At midnight, we called the front desk and was told there was a wedding and no further solution was offered. We did not get any sleep that night. They did not offer us to change room.
Upon checked out the next day, I spoke to the front desk staff and asked why we weren’t told there’ll be a wedding, given the location of the room, which is above the conference/party room etc.. since this room lacks noise-insulation, we can hear the party and we did not get any sleep that night. They "gave" us $20 credit to that night stay. Only after I complaint about how unhappy we were! At that point, she didn’t ask us if the compensation was sufficient nor would we be satisfied. In fact, I find this “restitution” extremely insulting given the cost of the room. After all, we spent $850 for this stay. I sent the company a formal email to ask about the company’s policy regarding a guest’s complaint. I still have not received any reply or acknowledge of my email. They are ignoring me! I can’t believe not a note of apology was issued.
If you are looking at this overprice, under service hotel... be prepared for a mediocre room, paying for parking (long walk to get to the hotel with no luggage assistance), tons of steps to get the entrance, and lack of concerns for their guests... then go ahead! I would not stay here even if this is the last room in town!

Dear Readers. Thank you for allowing us to comment on this "unfair" review. While some of its contents are concise, it is quite misleading as to the actual events. May I also comment that the actual guests who stayed in this room, had a wonderful 3 day hotel stay, barring this one situation. The comments, written by a third party, are penalizing our hotel for the entire stay including services not even used. We have 2 rooms of 92 rooms with a less than pleasant view. We are a hotel. We have a mix of business and host weddings almost every weekend. This is truly the first complaint I have received regarding noise. The actual occupants liased with our night staff on two issues. First - wedding noise ends at 1am. Second - we did offer to move the guests but it was declined. The guests did receive a 10% discount on their 3rd night, not their entire stay. Could we have offered more?; certainly. We do apologize for this situation and oversight. On Wed. Oct. 13, the person who wrote this review (again; not the occupants) sent the hotel a lengthy email on their issues. Within 24 documented hours, our Guest Services Manager apologized and responded back with a suitable solution. Why would the reviewer speak this untruth? To date, we have never heard back on our response and now our ratings suffer. We feel we have been unfairly targetted through this media. Thank you for the opportunity to show our side.
