I was travelling from Calgary on business and happened to stay at the Hampton Inn. From the moment i checked in to the time i checked out, I received warm welcome and friendly service. I was amazed at how quietly the renovation was taking place; they were replacing carpets without any noise or disturbance to the guests

We stayed there for one night, and on checking in we were upgraded to a room with sofa, fridge and microwave. The size of the room was pretty good, the only out-of-place item was a working chair, very comfortable but too big for the area.
Our room faced the freeway, nevertheless it was very quiet.
The breakfast was good, with waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, etc.
The location of the hotel is good: approximately 30 minutes from downtown Toronto (traffic permitting), and close to two large malls.
Don't miss the Port Credit village, few miles away: a true little village by the lake, with several restaurant.

We were here for one night and arrived shortly before dark. The room was very comfortable, as was the nice, large, king-size bed. The bathroom was adequate, as well. Our room was on the top floor and the wall with the bed was where the soda and ice machine were on the opposite side. We ran the air conditioner all night, so didn't really notice the sound while sleeping. There were some people across the hall from us who kept allowing their door to slam whenever they went in or out, but that isn't the hotel's fault, however, door closers might be an option. The complimentary breakfast had many things to choose from, but the staff person "manning" the operation was notieably irritated by requests for additional food when it was running low. She also audibly shared her feelings about hotel guests that had been there the day before. The hotel overall was very warm in the hallways; the temps had been in the 90's and very humid. The room, however, was comfortable.

I loved the comfortable beds and the location worked well for us for sightseeing, as well as shopping nearby. My only negative comment was the absolutely ineffective woman who handled the complimentary breakfast. She would let the garbage overflow before asking someone at the front desk to take it away. The same thing with the coffee waste (creamer containers, sugar packet trash...) It seemed to me that if I didn't get my flavored creamer early in the morning, I had to settle for just plain creamer the rest of the morning. She was very slow in replenishing anything that had run out.
