We have stayed at this Hotel 3 or 4 times as a package to enjoy the theater and sleep over and did so at the end of January with the added option of leaving the car for a week while we flew to Jamaica for a week. We always like the dinner shows and the Motown Gold performance was fantastic and the suites are pretty good for a night's stay. We caught the included hotel shuttle to the airport for departure no problem. When we returned to Toronto Airport a week later however it took 2 phone calls and over an hour wait outside in the cold before the van showed up. When we asked the driver why the delay he said he just got the call 15 minutes ago and maybe I called the wrong hotel ( how did he get the message then? ) Anyway as I said the Hotel, the dinner theater are very good, but just be warned about the pick up service.

In late October I booked a Wagjag deal for my husband and I for dinner, show and mini suite at the Stage West Studio Theatre. To make it more of a get away we added an extra night's stay so we could relax more. Our suite was comfortable although had a strong smell of perfume/cleaning product on arrival which triggered my allergies. After opening the windows for a while the scent cleared and I was able to purchase allergy medication at the well stocked gift shop on the premises so there was no need to request a change of rooms. In fact our room had a great view of the air traffic landing at the nearby airport, close enough to be interesting but not noisy. On the day of the show we found it really nice to be able to get to the theatre without leaving the hotel and everything was well planned. They had taken special pains to seat us near the stage so that my husband, who is hard of hearing, could enjoy the show. The buffet dinner was excellent and our server was very attentive. On our second night we ate dinner at the restaurant and found it quite good.

All together it made a very pleasant fall break and when something that interests us is playing we will book again. We hope they'll do a Wagjag deal in the future as we found it excellent value.

Stayed here for 3 days for a business trip. The best thing is that the rooms are very spacious; however, if you want to sleep, you better like sleeping on bricks because that is what the beds feel like! Rock hard!!! Everyone in our work party complained so it was not just a case of me getting a bad room...
The hotel does have a waterslide, but it is old and dated, just one single slide, not that exciting.
Lunch in the restaurant was average; service was slow. Tried to have drinks in the bar one night and same experience...even though there was only one other table of people in the bar, service was extremely slow!!!
Their is a nice little gift shop/convenience store area that is on the first floor of the hotel, which was nice to get snacks and drinks without having to use a vending machine.
A shuttle from the airport is available, but I was left standing outside for more than one hour when I tried to take it from the airport to the hotel. I called the shuttle from the airport and they told me where to go to wait for it. I waited and waited in the right spot (it is in an area where all hotel shuttles come to pick up airport passengers). After a pileup of other shuttles picking up passengers, I noticed the shuttle driving away without me! They had stopped far down from the designated area due to other vans stopped where it needed to, you couldn't see it stopped so far down, and they just drove off without me. When I tracked down the number to call and complain, the front desk staff told me the van was probably just full already. No apology. I then had to wait another 25 minutes in winter weather for the next shuttle.

For all of you that is contemplating on whether or not to say here, let's just say PLEASE avoid at all cost. My family and I checked online and everything seemed wonderful. (A theatre show for me and my husband and a indoor waterslide for our kids)
Now, that was the positive and then the nightmare begins. During check in, the front desk girl was very rude and had forgotten to activate our key card which was very inconvenient as our room was up on the 12th floor. After all the hassle and finally checking into our room, we finally managed to settle in. What was noticeably disturbing, our heater vent was making clunking noises. We had call for help and did not see any personnel until 30 minutes later. After all that, we were transferred to a different room on the same floor. What inconvenience!!

By evening, my husband and I were able to venture downstairs to see their show - Motown Gold. Which was utterly entertaining. The buffet was lacking of choices and the food lacked in taste. The workers there were full of young kids who did not seemed at all interested in their jobs.

Our server who was ``taken`` care of us for the night, did not do a good job whatsoever. She had forgotten to take our drink orders and when she did come around to take our dirty plates had picked it up and dropped it onto my husband. Can I say clumsy..or incompetent...

I wanted to speak to the manager but our server had said he was ``occupied`` at the moment.

In conclussion, if this is how a customer should remember their vacation then I would love to come back here for another episode of what poor hospitality should feel like.
