We recently travelled to London, Ontario to visit some friends, and stayed the night at the Homewood Suites on Bessemer Rd. For both of us, it was our first time staying at the Homewood Suites.

I must say...the front desk employee was extremely helpful and friendly upon our arrival. I believe she was the manager, but her name escapes me. She introduced herself, told me a bit about the property, amenities, and services offered. She then explained to me that a complimentary meal was being served in the lobby between 5 and 7pm. We enjoyed cabbage rolls, steamed veggies and garlic mashed potatoes! It was all very good.

The next morning we were treated to a hot breakfast also, which was decent, as far as hotel breakfasts go!

Our room was nice and spacious, and fairly modern in decor. My only complaint about the room was the thermostat would not respond to what temperature we put it to. It was set to 75 degrees F, and we tried turning it down the whole stay, which didn't seem to change anything. The AC kept turning on and off at even intervals, no matter what the temp was set at. Made for a bit of an uncomfortable sleep. Also, the next time I visit, I would bring my own pillows, as the ones supplied are of poor quality.

Overall, a very good property, good location just off Highway 401 and near lots of shopping and restaurants. I would stay here again, especially if we got a good rate. I will most likely return, mainly because of the friendly service and great food!

We stayed 2 nights in a one bedroom suite. It was quite comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. It had a nice kitchenette which definitely adds to the experience when travelling with children. The breakfast was great. The kids and adults were all happy.

I got a great deal for this hotel through Priceline and I thought that it might not be as good as the other reviews had suggested seeing that my price was so low. It was better than expected. I had two rooms, both had king sized beds, with a living room area and a kitchenette. The room I stayed in had a whirlpool. The hotel was clean, modern and the rooms were immaculate. We found some great restaurants just one block down. We were only passing through but I'm glad that we stopped here. By the way, breakfast was great too.

Stayed here for one night in one of their suites. What a find. In UK prices it was less than £100 including breakfast for a family of 5. The suite was immaculate and very well equipped kitchen. We had to setup the sofa bed for the two older children and they took a long time delivering the crib late at night which was a bummer. The inclusive breakfast had all of the regular expected choices (cereal, waffles, eggs, bacon etc....). , I really recommend this place.
