My husband and I had a great stay in this Inn style hotel. Front desk staff were warm and welcoming, bed was extremely comfortable, best sleep I've had in a while, and lots of space in the room. Loved the honey themed toiletries supplied by the hotel! Restaurant was also good. Would definetely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a quiet atmosphere, right by the the university and hospital.

Located in very pleasant surroundings, you do need a car to get anywhere, unless you are prepared to spend a fortune in taxis. The room was quiet, clean and convenient, though quite dark. Food somewhat pricey, but with no alternatives in the neighbourhood choices are difficult! Staff mostly helpful and attentive.

The people there are snobs. Small town eatery (restaurant) that thinks is high class while students go there dressed in pajamas, total sense of disrespect. I wouldn't eat anything in London, ON, bad hygiene, employees smoking outside and spitting in a bucket, really disgusting, and this is a conference place for a university, what a joke. Rather sleep in my car during my visit to that small town.

The website for this hotel makes it seem like a quaint old Inn with beautiful rooms and charm, so we thought it was a good choice for our recent visit to Ontario. While the Inn is indeed old, there have not been any noticeable upgrades in the last 25 years. The TV was old and the remote didn't work. The dresser's finish was worn off and you could see the holes that had been drilled into it for the last TV. The lamps were those old cheesy brass lamps that were bent. There were no robes as advertised. The door had to be slammed to shut it because the doorframe was warped. The pictures on the wall looked like something from the Wal-Mart discount bin. We complained and received a new room, which was exactly the same. The only nice thing was that you could open the windows.

The breakfast was OK - the one we received anyway. We were staying for two nights so we thought we'd have the continental breakfast one morning and the hot breakfast the next. The coffee was horrid, but the rest of the continental was average. The next morning we went to the dining area to have breakfast and found out that they had decided not to open (it was Canada Day). Instead there were stale muffins placed in the lobby - there was only one left when we entered the lobby at 9:00. There was no explanation given for the closure, but we figured the owners wanted to save some money and not pay as many staff on a holiday.

Do yourself a favour - stay away.
