I've stayed in a number of hotels in London over the years on business and found the Hilton to be one of the nicer places to stay here. The downtown location is close to shops and restaurants but lacks the pleasant atmosphere of the area just a bit further north around Victoria park.
I stayed on the executive floor (19) and had no complaints about noise (although I agree the a/c is loud, but didin't prevent me from sleeping), cleanliness or condition of room. The bed was extremely high, though. Approximately waist height on me and I'm of average height. A short person will need a step ladder to get into bed and better not fall out in the middle of the night!
The continental breakfast was nice with a reasonable assortment of items, and there was always enough seating.
Water pressure was good, with plenty of hot water, but the shower nozzle was very small and only delviered a small percentage of what was potentially available. This should be addressed by the management.
Parking was a very short walk away and I did not have any trouble finding a space. It is open to the street so may not be very secure.
I would consider staying here again.
