I stayed at this property for five nights (Sunday through Thursday) while on a week-long course. At first, I thought this was going to be a long week but my stay at this hotel made my trip. The hotel seems to have a dedicated cliental of business guests who arrive on Monday and depart on Friday and the hotel management goes out of their way to ensure their guests are well looked after.
A full breakfast is offered each day. The hot food tends to be on the greasy side but there is fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, etc. The coffee is quite good. There are two newspapers to choose from - the Globe and USA Today. Monday through Thursday in the evening, a modest complimentary dinner is offered which is great if you don't want to leave the hotel on a cold winter night (excellent rice pudding). The surrounding industrial/retail landscape has the usual large chain restaurants plus there is a Longos supermarket only a few minutes away if you want to cook in your suite.
I had a king studio suite which had everything I need to be comfortable for the week. The TV was absolutely huge - I forgot they were ever made so large. Switching over to flat screen sets would made the room seem a bit bigger. Despite being on the Highway 403 side of the building, I didn't hear much, if any, road noise. The fitness room was a bit dated with only a minimal selection of equipment and no cleaning supplies to wipe the stuff down when finished. There is also a sort of smallish pool and a business centre. The complimentary high-speed internet worked just fine with my VPN account.
If your business travels take you to the Burlington/Hamilton/Oakville area, consider staying at this hotel. The pricing is very competitive, there is easy access to Highway 403 and the staff were very friendly.
