“Really excellent B&B in a great location for Toronto and surrounding areas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 September 2011

We stayed at Creekside for the last two weeks of August after finding it online after an exhaustive seacrh. I was a bit concerned about booking a B&B so far away based on a website - but I needn't have worried. This B&B is really good. The owners, Steve and Lin, have gone a long way to make it comfortable, sylish and affordable. We stayed in the Spruce room which sleeps three in a double and single bed, although there were just two of us for this stay. It has the benefit of an en-suite bathroom, which has recently been refitted and is excellent. Towels (and plenty of them) are provided. There's a good size pool and a hot-tub to relax in after a day's touring which we made full use of (apparently the hot-tub is kept on during the winter!). There's a bar and lounge area (bring your own drink) in the basement to relax and chat in as well. Breakfast in the morning is a full english with cereals, fruit and toast also available.
Toronto is about an hour away by train or 45 mins by car. Niagara is about an hour or so away. There's local supermarkets within 5 minutes drive and plenty of restaurants not far away. Burlington city centre is about15 mins away.
One tip - bring a satnav (GPS) as the roads - especially the motorways are very confusing at first. Coming out of Toronto airport (Pearson) onto an eight (or was it fifteen) lane highway trying to navigate across it all would have been a disaster without it. It makes navigating the highways much, much simpler!

“Highly recommended, fantastic hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2011

Steve and Lin provide one of the warmest and comfortable bed and breakfast facilities we have stayed in. Style and comfort are combined with a homely feel. The breakfast was fabulous and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The bonus of having a pool to cool off in and a hot tub to relax in was a nice luxury!
If you are looking for a stop off en route whilst touring this area of Ontario it is an ideal place to be. Not far from the main QEW with Niagra Falls, the City of Toronto and the town of Burlington very close by. There is a bus stop opposite the b&b too.

“Had an awesome time!!!”

If you are planning a trip to the Burlington area I would highly recommend this B&B. The accommodations were great! The house is exceptionally clean iside and out. However, what impressed me the most was not the dwelling but the kindness displayed by the owners Steve and Lin. They were very good at responding to any and all questions I had as well as assisting with planning well before my arrival. During our stay it was a joy to get to know them. They are a well suited couple for this sort of business. Each morning Lin made an awesome breakfast and provided local information about any attractions we were interested in. I hope to visit again in the furture. Two thumbs up and 10 stars!!!!

“This is my home away from home, and I would never go anywhere else.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 May 2011

Have stayed with Lin and Steve many times, and find their welcome and hospitality among the very best I have experienced anywhere. Room descriptions/pictures are accurate. All areas are very well appointed, modern, and the pool area is a welcome respite after a long day!! Access in/to the area is very easy (public or private transport). Transport links into Toronto and Niagara are easy to find/use.
