My Wife & I stayed here with another couple for an awards ceremony back in the spring. The hotel staff were very friendly & the rooms were clean. The breakfast the next morning was very good, especially the waffle maker! After we left I realized I left my cell phone on the bed & called the hotel. The checked the room & called me back immediately when they found it. I asked if they could mail it to me & to just charge my credit card. I received the phone 3 days later & they never did charge me for the extra service. I'm very grateful to the staff for their honesty & helpfulness. We will definitely stay there again if in the area.

This was a 1 week Business stay. After reading negative reviews, I was leary about staying there, but everything turned out to be quite nice.
The front lobby and breakfast area are newly remodeled, and have a very comfortable lounge atmosphere. Rooms are not freshly new, but are clean, and no wear was noticed. Carpets were clean. The heat was effective and the unit was very quiet.
First floor rooms have two entrances. One inside, and one outside. The work desk is very large with sufficient outlets. Free internet connection is very slow and passcodes failed often, requiring a call to the front desk to get a new code. TV is the older tube style, but works nicely and has about 30 channels.
Beds are comfortable and the bedding is clean. No outside noise was heard during the entire stay. Room had a fridge, but no microwave, but there are microwaves in the vending areas. There is a food store directly across the parking lot. The hotel has a guest laundry, and business center.
I found no problems at all with this stay and will return when in the area.

It was a family event of a wedding and families came from the caribbean ,New York and other places . We all stayed at the Best Western Plus on Clarke Road . The rooms were clean , the staff were courteous , and though the breakfast was not all many choices , it was good to have especially with large families . The Grocery is just 2 mins walk and the Transit was easy from here to anywhere in Toronto. Definitely would stay there another time and I recommend for sure .

I stayed at this hotel about 2 weeks ago and the experience was pretty good. The staff seemed helpful, although they did seem understaffed at times. The room was very clean and was in decent shape, considering the hotel is older. I noticed that they were in the middle of some renovations, so at least they are working on updating it. The bed was sooooo comfortable. The breakfast was nice, a lot better than some of the other hotels with continental breakfast, I loved the waffles (you can make your own waffels there, so they are nice and fresh). The pool and hot tub were also nice. The hotel is next to the 410 and there is a plaza right beside the hotel with a no frills and kelsey's (which I ate at).
Overall, I would say that you get value for the price.
I also wanted to mention that I saw a few people complaining like some of the ones complaining on this trip advisor website, and I wouldn't necessarily take their word as their expectations were unrealistic even though they got the room for dirt cheap. Someone was yelling at the front desk person because the light in the room burn out and wanted their money back, even though the front desk person said they would have it chaged right away.
