I have visited the resort on December,2010.The resort is located beside Murty river near Gorumara national park.Location is beautiful but it is half-hour distance from Lataguri(by car),where jungle permits are given,so I have to get up at 4 am with all members of family and go to Lataguri to get the permit.If one stays at Lataguri,only one member need to stay in queue which often starts at 1 am as no. of ticket is only 25 per forest tower per visit,and not all towers are attractive.Resort has a system where you have to take all meals from it (no nearby resturant) at Rs350 per head,but there is no variety at all.They offer thalis for lunch and dinner,and pakoras for tea,breakfast is a little better.They clean room only when asked.Rooms are not very comfortable and beds are really bad.However manager and stuffs are polite and helpful.Hot water was available.One very good driver was given to us by resort management,named Robiul,who came to resort at 4 am twice to fetch us,and was very punctual also.I feel they should make a proper menu and modernize the rooms with comfortable king-sized beds,it can become a very good resort at Duars.
