We stayed for the weekend for the ice fishing. We stayed in cabin 8 and there were 6 of us(3 couples). For beds there was one queen bedroom upstairs, a futon and a pull out couch. Downstairs there was 2 bedrooms. One had a double bed and a single in it and the other a single(neither were full singles). Most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in and usually I wouldn't notice as I am pretty easy to please. They supply blankets but no linen. No towels are provided either. The downstairs was actually the basement and so there are no windows in the bedrooms. Upstairs was the bathroom (hairdryer) and a big bathtub and sink in one room and the toilet and shower in another...strange, but doable. The kitchen is pretty small but quaint...equiped but not overly. Coffee maker, microwave, fry pans and pots....not alot of 'extras' such as spatula, can opener and such. Think basic. The livingroom was a good size and has as i mentioned 2 couches and a table and chairs that seat 6. The view of the lake was spetacular and located within stones throw from the hottub(enclosed) and main lodge. We did not eat there so can't comment on that. Craig was very accomodating to us and has a wealth of information about the fishing. My only complaint.....which actually destroyed our weekend...was the sewer smell that started Saturday morning and actually woke me up in the middle of the night on Saturday nite. We actually left early on Sunday as the smell was sooo bad we had to keep going outside to get a breath of fresh air. I went up to the lodge 3 times to talk to them about the problem, but I never did find anyone around. We had originally planned to stay the Sunday nite as well but at $160/night for the 2 of us that would be left, you actually couldn't of given us the room for free to stay there. There are alot of places to stay around the lake and it is a beautiful area..so i would definitely go back but would probably look for other accomodation. Oh yes, the rules everyone talks about. I didn't find them "overly ridiculous"(we did get a good laugh)...just sad that simple basic things are no longer common sense and someone has to make rules about them.
