Our stay with melody and craig was incredible! They went above and beyond to cater to our every need. The cabins were clean and had every thing we ever needed. The food they prepared was the best! Can't say enough about the hospitality and how nice the owners were to us. Will definitely stay there again and recommend this place to others.

For large group of snowmobiler's we were treated to a week of super accommodations, awesome hospitality, and food that was out of this world. To top it all off, a new friendship was formed with Craig & Melanie. I can,t say enough, thanks again for a unforgettable time, we will be back.......Duffy.

If I had read the reviews prior to book our time at little Hawk Resort - I never would have taken the chance. The reviews were so extreme when I saw them I was nervous about what to expect.

So let me give it to you in a nutshell. We stayed in number 5 cottage and it has that cottage feel. It's not fancy but it was very clean, furniture was very comfortable to sit on and looked fairly new, it is well stocked with everything you are going to need on your vacation. There is a tv (tiny and no stations), but there is a VCR. No WIFI but I thought that was a blessing, unfortunately my son was still able to text.

The rules seemed a little overwhelming at first but the boys didn't seem to have any problems with them. There are paddleboats, canoes for the kids to use and a great swimming area with a slide and a water trampoline.

We rented a boat while we were there and although it was a little dated - it worked well and it served our purposes. It is definately a quiet resort for families - so if you are wanting a party place - this is not the place for you.

The owner Craig is a great host and bends over backwards to make your stay wonderful. I mentioned the rules seem strict but the owner was very layed back.
He loaned us waterskis and a kneeboard for the guys to go out on at no cost.

Now the view, the view, the view was absolutely beautiful. The water is so clear and the fishing is good. Even with three 15-16 year olds, my partner and I found it a peaceful time away.

What a rip off this place was! I had been there years ago and loved it but the new owners are terrible! They were taking any chance to charge us money and our accomodations were not as promised---the toilets didn't work, there were bugs all over the bathroom and the televisions didn't even work. This place was far from hospitable. It had unreasonable rules that made you feel like you were a 5 year old. The owners were not friendly and I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The area is beautiful so it would be best to find other accomodations.
