Stayed for 3 nights on business in a suite. I did not leave the hotel except for meetings. Hotel is clean and hotel staff was friendly. My bedroom furnace was not staying on the first night and this was fixed sometime before the second night. There is a restaurant downstairs with a limited menu and a fancier restaurant just across the hotel entrance. Not a lot of choices nearby for late-night (after 10p) dining. Suite was large but backed to a busy street (for Halifax) so kind of noisy especially with the snow plows scraping the concrete. Harbor terrace was closed so I did not get to go out there (and was quite disappointed!!) Free wireless internet but you need to log on to the network every two hours or so, that was annoying. They should change it to 12 or 24 hours.

If you want friendly service, professional and quick check in, VERY clean and quiet rooms this is the place for you. I stayed here for work and could not have been happier. Single female on my own I felt safe and secure. I honestly could not find one thing that I was dissatisfied with. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Graet place to stay in Halifax. Check-in was quick and easy. Rooms are very clean with comfy beds. The pool is slightly small, but adquate. The restaurant seemed very expensive for breakfast, food took awhile to arrive. The snacks at the desk for purchase was very convenient for a late night snack. All in all it was a average stay at a average hotel, but the location is great.

On our return trip to Halifax a week later from our original visit we booked The Courtyard after a very unsatisfactory stay at The Sheraton Four Point. What a difference--this hotel was cleaner, not in the least bit shabby. Although it appears to be a more family hotel it's location is amazing! Right by the Wharf, and good eateries, as well as the historic old brewery.
Being foodies we enjoyed a good meal at The Grill just across from the hotel, a really chic decor and pleasant service. The Italian restaurant in the Courtyard was amazing, reservations a must as the locals also love it. A evening at Chives, was an unexpected treat as generally they are booked months in advance, a last minute cancellation allowed us to enjoy their wonderful cuisine!
Buskers weekend was in full force during our stay so after enjoying the many acts we returned to our quiet rooms and enjoyed a peaceful slumber not in the least affected by the noise outside.
