Great hotel but I held a 3 day meeting here and it was awful... They wouldn't let one client park in the hotel parking, food was deplorable. I talked to the staff and they were not helpful at all, they didnt care. I had to apologize to my client repeatedly after three days of terrible food, service, and help from the desk. Never again...

I just came back from spending a night in this hotel and decided to join TripAdvisor just so I could write a review; it was wonderful. The room was large, the bed was very comfortable, nice flat screen TV, and the sofa and kitchenette were an added convenience. The staff was pleasant and there was no problem accessing the free Wi-Fi. I've stayed in four other hotels in downtown Halifax, but this was by far my favourite. The free hot buffet breakfast was a nice added touch. I didn't want to leave and will definitely be back.

Large rooms, spotless, great staff, fitness centre, comfy beds, modern design, walking distance to great restaurants, night life, and shopping. Great place to stay for business, and pleasure.

Right in the heart of the nightlife in downtown Halifax. Room was the perfect size and very clean; one broken door in the kitchenette (more of a full-sized kitchen, really) which we reported to the Front Desk. Speedy check-in/check-out process. Parking is an issue as it isn't included in the room rate; if you're staying on a Friday or Saturday night and are early enough, you can get a spot at a meter on the street for free; also if you arrive after 6:00 pm and leave before 8:0 am on weekdays.

Great place to stay; perfect for a weekend getaway.
