My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at the Cambridge Suites, we upgraded upon arrival to a suite (for a nominal fee) that included the room upgrade, parking, and a hot breakfast - all of it was definitely worth the value. Our room looked over the water and the Citadel - with the gorgeous sun shining it, it was such a beautiful stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is central and perfect for walking. We will choose the Cambridge Suites again when we return to Halifax.

My daughter and I stayed at Cambridge suites for a few days at the end of Dec. She was moving to Halifax for University. This was an excellent hotel. We had the view of the harbor, we could go on the roof top to enjoy more views of the this beautiful city. Everything we needed was within walking distance. We even went to the theater which was only a few blocks away. Coming from Manitoba..we enjoyed walking to the pier everyday to enjoy the ocean and shops. Dalhousie was also withing walking distance.
Breakfast every morning was an added bonus. We made good use of the fridge for leftovers from the restaurants around.
Enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna.
Great friendly place to stay.
The staff was super friendly, even showed us with a map how to get to different places in the city.

It's a good hotel for business people. I didn't like their Breakfast, not too many choices. Their gym is very small and not well equiped. the rest was good as Rooms, Location, Service, cleanliness...

Visiting family at IWK we chose this hotel based on trip advisor reviews. General Manager gave us a great deal with parking. On arrival we checked in early and received great service with directions to parking. We had a studio room with a great view of the Halifax citadel. Tv not working and no crib in the room. Phoned reception and they told us housekeeping may have loosened cords while cleaning. Must happen often because it worked. Not long after crib arrives. Excellent service as at other hotels it has taken quite awhile to get a crib which can be annoying if you have a tired little one. Room has a sink, microwave, mini fridge. Room spotless and large. Bathroom tastefully decorated. Breakfast in the morning was spot on. Great coffee and your usual items. Hotel is in a great location we will stay here again and recommend to family visiting Iwk (15 min walk)
