When we stayed here we found the facility clean, modern and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the breakfast, the free internet and the included parking.

On our planned grand driving tour of the Maritime Provinces, my wife and I stayed here for two nights in mid-September. The hotel is next to an ugly, Dickensian shale heap in a newish shopping area just north of Saint John. The hotel itself is very nice, with all of the amenities you'd expect from a good Hampton Inn, including an in-room safe.

Additionally, it was very convenient to downtown Saint John ( a charming city which is an active port) via the main highway in the area. As a bonus the hotel is convenient to the Fundy Trail Parkway Provincial Parkway which is spectacular and much easier to get to than Fundy National Park.

The restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel were chains with all the strengths and weaknesses that implies, but the Opera Bistro in downtown Saint John is very good and reasonably priced.

We staed here on a road trip in August 2011. My wife and I always enjoy a swim after a day of driveing, and usually Hampton Inn's provide a great pool experience. This one has a waterlside that was being enjoyed by a large group of children. They were having a blast, however the pool is too small ( and only 2 or 3 feet deep) to host both a large water slide and have room for a swim. I have no issue with kids enjoying the slide, I'm sure it's great for the parents to let them blow off steam here. It is not godd for adults looking to have a swim. Thats the only complaint, the rest of the hotel was standard Hampton service and fare, always good.

I would like to take this opportunity to share my opinion of Hampton Inns & Suites, Saint John, NB. I have stayed at this property numerous times in the last few years. I have also booked employees and managers to stay here as well. In all of the bookings I have never had one word of unhappy feedback. Everyone has always enjoyed their stay. They appreciate the quick and painless check in, the cookies at the front desk to enjoy while checking in. The information regarding discounts to participating vendors / restaurants in the area. This is great as there is a very wide variety of restaurants participating.

The rooms are always cleaned and well stocked. I have always had a good nights sleep while staying here.

The breakfast in the morning has a nice assortment food to choose from and if you do not have time to sit and eat the staff at the front desk have breakfast bags packed for you to take with you on your way.

I would just like to say that I recommend this hotel to any traveller be it business or pleasure. you cannot go wrong.
