I stayed at the Fredericton Inn many times in my capacity as a union activist. The Fredericton is our hotel of choice not because it is fancy but because of the experience we have when we stayed there. The staff have bent over backwards to accommodate us each and every time we have been there for negotiations, conferences or business. The room although not fancy are functional, and clean. The staff are top notched. From Jill at the desk, to Beckkie in the Restaurant, these people and their co-worker go above and beyond each and every time. Is there sometimes problem? Of course there are, but the difference is that these folks note it and attempt to fix it for next time. John should be proud of his staff, because they are great and they do him proud each and every time.

This is a family run hotel not a franchise. They have very basic rooms as well as medium priced rooms and modern deluxe rooms as well as large suites. Pool, exercise room, large restaurant for breakfast and lunch as well as a high end dining room with impeccable food as well as a nice bar.. The building also has numerous meeting rooms and a large ballroom to seat hundreds.
The hotel sits next to Fredericton's largest mall and theater.

This hotel is not the most modern but its location and friendly staff make it worth considering when staying in Fredericton. The restaurant and lounge had excellent food and everyone was very welcoming. My only complaint was the lack of really hot water.

If you are staying at this hotel, be aware that access to it from Regent Street is tricky. Going north on Regent you can't make a left across traffic into the hotel. You need to go beyond the hotel, find a place to turn, and then come back on Regent heading south.
