My mother and I stayed here the night before I had surgery on November 29 and while I recovered upon being released from the hospital. The hotel was appropriately situated close to the hospital which made it easy for my mother to shuttle between the hotel and hospital. We were checked in with no problems by friendly front desk staff. There was a varied hot breakfast which my mother used throughout the stay. Soup is also offered in the evenings and was a lovely surprise we took advantage of one evening. Although we were placed down the hall from the pool, it was very quiet and I was able to rest well. One concern we have travelling to MB from ON is vehicle safety in the parking lot. We made sure not to leave a single thing in sight in our vehicle and used the club nightly with no issue. Although this hotel has a pool with water slide we did not use it. I think the liner needs replacing which gives the pool a dingy look, but perhaps a good cleaning would do the trick. I would try this hotel again with my family.

We stayed at the BW Plus Nov 30th, 2011 as we just got back to Winnipeg from Jamaica. This place is new, clean & up-to-date, pleasant staff and have a hot complementary breakfast. We will definitely be back. We had previously stayed at BW Charterhouse and it should not even be in the same category as this one.

The staff here were very good to us, and the continental breakfast was excellent. Location was not ideal for shopping and proximity to the airport.

I travel to the major Canadian cities. Came accross this one early in the year. Have done 2 5-day stays this year, once in June and once in September. One word, Gem. If you do not need to be next to something because you have a car it is worth your time and effort. Quiet location near the river, full hot breakfast every morning, pool, hot tub, gym. Free WiFi and parking. Near lots of restaurants. Some within walking distance. Can't

There are other hotels in Winnipeg but some have safety/security issues. Not so here.
