Wish we'd read the other reviews before checking in. Front desk was completely useless. Toilet in the room was plugged. Called to ask for a plunger and was told they didn't have one in the hotel (?!). Called back to ask for a new room. Was given a room two floors up at the opposite end of the hall. Asked for something closer and was told the hotel was full (despite there being only one other vehicle in the parking lot). Tried to make a long distance call from the room, didn't work. Called front desk and was told that I couldn't make long-distance calls from the room (calling card, collect, or otherwise). Oh yeah, and it was a bit smelly too. Stay away!!

Checked in with our pet (little dog) and had to take the smoking room upstairs. Been awhile since someone took the nozzle off the vacum cleaner and vacumed around the edges of the room. Room really smelled and apparently they were renovating........mattresses, carpeting, furniture all along the hall

I stayed here on my way home from Alberta (driving back to Southern Ontario). It was late, and I just wanted a bed at this point. The only room they had left was a jacuzzi one.. which I decided to take. When I got into my room, they had put me into a smoking designated room which I wasn't too happy about, but I could live with it. The room was clean though which was what I was most concerned about.

I do work in the hospitality industry, so when staying at other hotels, I really look at how hospitable other front desk agents are. The one at this Super 8 was not super friendly. He wasn't rude or anything, just very monotone, like he didn't care.. not really what I want to walk into a hotel and see.

Besides that, the stay was decent.. not worth $140.00 though.

This building was filthy top to bottom. The staff seemed resentful of customers. The staff would constantly talk to each other in chinese while waiting on you, completely ignoring their customers. When we mentioned the internet wasn't working, we were told, yeah we've had some complaints this month, sorry. No internet during the stay at all. Workout facility was a joke, filthy with most of the equipment not working . The inside pool/hot tub was also non operational,empty. This building is located on a busy highway with very little space between the road and the building, the noise went all night.
