I've been to Winnipeg a number of times now and stayed at a few different hotels, but this is my favorite bar none.
The rooms are quaint and has a sheek, elegant style. The four comfort beds that are in each room are incredibly comfortable and it's easy to have a restful, relaxing sleep every night. The location of the hotel is great as it is close enough to the attractions but not on a busy street where the noise can wake you up. Every time we've stayed here, we have have complete silence during our sleep. Perhaps my favorite part of the hotel is the hot tub. Unlike so many other hotels in Winnipeg, the hot tub at the Four Points south is actually hot! It is exactly like how a hot tub should be and not lukewarm like so many others. My girlfriend and I spent hours sitting in the wonderfully toasty hot tub and then dunking ourselves in the posh pool. They also have individual sofa-beds for people who want to just lounge around and read a book. The workout area(right next to the pool) as well as the indoor pool area has a very cool, modern look that is pleasing to the eye. There is also free wi-fi, a flat screen television, a desk to keep and plugin your laptop, and the bathrooms are clean and well-kept. To top this off, the staff is very friendly and accommodating as well. If you need anything, just let the front desk know and they'll take care of it. Last but not least, the price is tremendous, especially for the quality that you receive. In my honest opinion, the quality of this hotel is on par with others that are twice as expensive. This very affordable price is like a godsend so hopefully they keep the prices as is.
I often have to visit Winnipeg as my girlfriend lives there while I live in Saskatchewan but every time I go to Winnipeg, I make sure to book this hotel. There really is no other logical choice.
