Check in was awkward, finally received all of the pass cards for parking, elevator, and room. The Parkade's directions weren't visible, so we ended up carrying luggage through the parkade and down two flights of stairs just so that a maintenance worker could let us in through a side door.
The room was updated but tiny. 2 twin beds, that claim to be fancy because you can increase the softness or hardness by pushing a button. If you've ever gone camping and slept on a blow up mattress you'll realize it's not that fancy. The TV didn't work, so we had to have it exchanged.
After the first night... The walls are paper thin, could hear the young street punks partying all night from down the hallway, doors slamming shook the whole room. You'd think being twenty some stories up that traffic noises wouldn't affect you. Downtown must have had a riot or burnt down because the sirens were going all night.
The morning came early since there aren't any blinds or drapes, only a thin piece of white transparent cloth.
The only upside was that it's across the street for The MTS Center... Followed by some rehab centers I'm sure.
