The hotel is very clean and front end staff are helpful. It is always booked, so make your reservations early. Very close to mall and Boston Pizza which is nice if you have time to kill in the evenings.

Because we were to be working in Thompson I was worried about finding a nice quiet place to relax in the evenings. The Days Inn was the perfect choice. The room was clean and despite having a lot of guests, very quiet. The beds were fantastic, in fact better than the one I own at home. In room coffee maker for that relaxing cup after working all day, and a fridge for chilling the next days pop.

Another worry was our large truck and trailer. Not a problem. They have a huge parking lot and we didn't inconvenience anyone.

The staff are so accommodating as well. We had to push back our arrival date times and each time was no problem. Plus when we ordered dinner to be delivered the restaurant didn't send cutlery or plates. The front desk stepped in with everything we needed along with salt and pepper.

There is a small exercise room next to breakfast area. Although I didn't use the equipment it did look new and the area clean.

Free internet in the room was a plus and the signal was strong. They also have a computer by the front desk for the guests to use with a printer which came in handy. Warning the computer and printer are very slow, but you will eventually get your printout.

Days Inn is nestled between a shopping mall and a restaurant so you are within walking distance for anything you may need.

On a side note, if you look at the picture I posted, look at the apartment block in the background. It has a huge mural of a wolf painted on the side of the building. After we noticed this we took a drive around Thompson and saw murals on buildings all around the town with different animals or nature scenes. When you go to Thompson, make sure you go for a drive around the town and look for them. They are amazing!!!

The next time I visit Thompson, or I know of anyone who has to go to Thompson, I will definitely recommend they stay here.

I can't complain. It has a double bed, fairly big washroom, microwave, mini fridge, and friendly hotel staff. No Kitchenette, but it's right close to Safeway and Tim Hortons if you're looking for a sub or pre made meal. One thing I did have a problem with was the pre set volume of the television. Everytime I turned it of, and back on again, it was way too loud. Normally I don't stay here as it is more expensive, but the Mystery Lake was full, and the Burntwood closed the railway's charge account. They probably didn't pay their bills.

Days Inn in Thompson is the only place where you can count on getting a quiet, clean and smoke free experience. Located beside Boston Pizza it is ideal for the business traveler.
