“Tundra Inn”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2011

I've been to immaculate, and absolutely dumpy hotels. The Tundra Inn is somewhere in between. The good things I liked was the full size fridge in my room, continental breakfast, internet station in the lobby, and use of the laundry facilities. Rooms were alright. Decent size, and got daily housekeeping. I just didn't like the idea of going outside, and across the street to go to the restaurant, but seeing as they were open late, it's a minor inconvenience. Also it didn't have any cooking facilities other then a microwave in the lobby, so anyone planning to stay for long periods of time, I would recommend the Aurora, or better yet renting a house.

“Warmth in freezing cold”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2011

Stayed here en route to Polar Bear watching. Icy cold and snowing outside but the warmth of the girls at the desk and in the restaurant made up for it totally. The blazing fire and smiles at the lounge were most welcoming. Food at the pub and restaurant was hearty and well made. Great to feel wanted. Giving me the password for internet access was a great help. The best place in a small town by far.

Room Tip: Best option in Churchill

“Nice place, appears to be the nicest in Churchill.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2011

Churchill is cool for the fact that it really appears to be a frontier town high up in remote Canada. It takes ten minutes to walk the entire town. There are no Marriott's in this part of the world. That being said, the people are super friendly and the accommodations are clean and basic. They try hard to make your stay pleasing but these are not high end hotels. Beds were super comfortable, room was pleasantly warm on a cold night and there was nice computer access in the lobby. Tea was available all day. Really pleasant experience. Would definitely stay again. You just have to kind of love Churchill.

“an Awesome Adventure”

First l would like to thank Belinda and all her staff for making our (Lions Club from Pelly Sk.) a time to remember a holiday that was remarkable, the weather was cloudy and drizzeling rain but that didn't dampin our spirits. The hotel was comfortable and the lounge and restaurant was far more than expected and the waitress and clerks were a 10 all the way through and we made friends that we shall remember and hope to see again. It was like afamily experiance and already we miss you. Special thanks to Belinda for making us feel welcome and treating us like family.
miss you all Brian and his Pride

Room Tip: any room was great, we heard no noise and we had rooms on the first and second floor

“Friendly - but floor noise issues”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

Good overall motel - friendly, almost all the amenities required, clean etc.

However, the noise thumping in the hallways/stairwell was UNBEARABLE until
2 in the morning and after the end of a tundra tour until the rush to dinner
(4:30 till 8 pm) especially in the corner 1st floor unit.

Room Tip: Do not stay in Room 101 or perhaps any lower level room
