“Cramped but adequate”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 July 2010

This is more like a condo building. Dated 70's vintage but clean and well kept. In the heart of Whistler village. Parking is limited and is $5.00 per night.
The studios are cramped and there are "No" elevators. 40 stairs from the parkade to the first floor units so not so good for the physically challenged. All in all a pleasant stay but book a 1 bedroom if you can.

“cozy and close - but noisy as HE*%!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 June 2010

Its just feet from the gondolas! Location couldnt be better - but price was fair, however could not sleep because of the outside noise! Not just people walking around, but street cleaning machines at 3-4 AM??? are you serious??? Watch out for parking too - LOW clearance! -scraped our friend's rocketbox and almost tore it off! the staff are stingy and not very friendly... wish i could have slept more.

NO ELEVATOR! JUST MASSES OF STAIRS!

“Great location, free use of laundry room, no free wi-fi, no hot tub, use A/C to drown out outside noise in pm.”

Stayed here with 2 other adults and a toddler. Our room is considered a 1 bedroom but we were happily surprised to find out that there was a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a loft upstairs with another queen bed. The living room was spacious and kitchen was small but efficient enough to cook for a party of 4. We were hard up for internet connection which was not provided but the Executive Inn provided Wi-fi for $30 for 7 days. We could do our laundry free of charge between 4pm and 8pm which they stuck to stringently. We found that out when we couldn't retrieve our clean laundry after 8pm. Noise from drunks outside after 10pm would've interrupted our sleep but we resolved that by keeping the noisy A/C on to drown it out. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating and overall I would recommend this place for the value and the proximity to the lifts, shops and restaurants.

“Primo Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 March 2009

The other reviews really say it all. All I can add is that it's all true. The Clock Tower's location is wonderful. Easy walking distance (even in ski boots) to both gondolas. There are few places there more convenient. The rooms were very clean, well appointed, and up-to-date. As others point out, there is no elevator or luxury amenities, and the heating/cooling units are a bit loud. But we would go back there in a shot.

“Small and cute but great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2008

Small and quiet condo with no elevator or night time hotel support (8am-8pm hours), but each room has tons of amenities and the location is superb. I wouldn't book here if you're older (>65) or physicially impaired, but climbing 3 flights of stairs daily certainly kept our weary legs and lungs in shape. The kitchen was well-equiped and the A/C units were VERY powerful. They send you a note after booking the unit that the street can get loud and it does. Fortunately, the A/C and our sound machine muted all but the drunkest idiots yelling at 2am. Not sure if I would pick this over a full-service and larger hotel room next time, but we enjoyed being just a minute from all of the village action. Choose if location is top criteria for you but I would look elsewhere if luxury or hotel amenities are more important. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
