We had the whole house to ourselves... it is like a townhouse. We needed to walk some stair pathways to reach our house. It is 2 floors and very spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 full bath, the other no tub/shower). We found everything clean. We enjoyed using the log fireplace. Our house had cable TV, unlimited cable internet (no wireless). The TV is still the CRT tube type.. but we didn't mind. Bathroom were stacked with clean towels and lots of toilet paper.
Units are non-smoking and no pets. A plus for us as we do not like the smell of cigarettes and pet urine/poop.
Check-in is at the Whiski Jack office at downtown Whistler and you drive approx 7 minutes to your "home".
Most surrounding units are permanent residents and are strata-run. We noticed one neighbour watching every move we make at the common open-air parking lot. Even to the point at sitting in his car and watching us until we drove off. It's obvious that some neighbours are not in favor of of units being rented out to short-term guests. Maybe they had bad experiences with past guests.
If you like hotel-type accomodations, I will not recommend this. But if you like the feeling of your own home at Whistler, this is the way to go. Just expect some neighbours watching your every move at the parking lot.
