“5 Stars all the way . . .”
We have (today) returned from 10 nights at the Four Seasons in Whistler - all we can say is "brilliant"!!!
Okay - its probably not the cheapest hotel in Whistler - but you get what you pay for.
Great Rooms - lots of space, warm, clean and very quiet - no noise at all.
Great Service - nothing was too much hassle.
Staff - a real mix of cultures - Canadian, Americans, Brits and other nationalities - all polite, helpful and English-Speaking.
***** FANTASTIC SKI CONCIERGE ***** - this made our trip - 10 yards from the bottom of the slope - the guys/gals were on hand to help us with our boots, with our skis, fitting, re-fitting, equipment changes, hot chocolate, cookies and everything else you can think of. Again - you could probably rent stuff a little cheaper - but the fact that they are there, ON the slope - looking after you and your gear so you dont have to lug it anywhere, more than makes up for this. The quality of the gear is tip-top too.
The super-heated Hot Tub was especially welcome after a hard days skiing.
The Gym is open 24 hours a day and the Spa seemed excellent as well - there is a fully kitted out gym, a steam room and great showers - all clean, like new and well cared for - lots of towels and pampering.
Breakfast was excellent - with a choice of pretty much anything you can think of - cold or cooked - I loved the fresh Rasberries.
The only complaint was that the mattress was too soft for our backs - but they did their best to sort that out in the end - they should invest in some firmer items for the skier!
Would we stay there again - definitely - the Ski Concierge service alone makes that a no-brainer.
Cheers Guys & Gals.
Room Tip: its all quiet - but try and get one with a balcony! Ours had views of Blacomb Mountain :-)
