“Worth It”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

The staff was kind and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The gas fireplace was the best. It really warmed me after skiing. Just push a button and on it came. It was safe too. It had a timed auto shut off. Another great feature is the ski valet at the bottom of Blackcomb. Just jump out of your skls and hand those off. Then on to the building around the corner to remove your ski boots. Next, enjoy the hot chocolate. Once your warmed up,take the short walk to the hotel and your room. Then jump in the hot tub. The hotel was quite and just far enough away from the village. The hotel shutle is very convenient.

Room Tip: We booked through the web site Enjoy Whislter and received a substantial discount on the rooom. Our...

“5 Stars all the way . . .”

We have (today) returned from 10 nights at the Four Seasons in Whistler - all we can say is "brilliant"!!!

Okay - its probably not the cheapest hotel in Whistler - but you get what you pay for.

Great Rooms - lots of space, warm, clean and very quiet - no noise at all.

Great Service - nothing was too much hassle.

Staff - a real mix of cultures - Canadian, Americans, Brits and other nationalities - all polite, helpful and English-Speaking.

***** FANTASTIC SKI CONCIERGE ***** - this made our trip - 10 yards from the bottom of the slope - the guys/gals were on hand to help us with our boots, with our skis, fitting, re-fitting, equipment changes, hot chocolate, cookies and everything else you can think of. Again - you could probably rent stuff a little cheaper - but the fact that they are there, ON the slope - looking after you and your gear so you dont have to lug it anywhere, more than makes up for this. The quality of the gear is tip-top too.

The super-heated Hot Tub was especially welcome after a hard days skiing.

The Gym is open 24 hours a day and the Spa seemed excellent as well - there is a fully kitted out gym, a steam room and great showers - all clean, like new and well cared for - lots of towels and pampering.

Breakfast was excellent - with a choice of pretty much anything you can think of - cold or cooked - I loved the fresh Rasberries.

The only complaint was that the mattress was too soft for our backs - but they did their best to sort that out in the end - they should invest in some firmer items for the skier!

Would we stay there again - definitely - the Ski Concierge service alone makes that a no-brainer.

Cheers Guys & Gals.

Room Tip: its all quiet - but try and get one with a balcony! Ours had views of Blacomb Mountain :-)

“Was my favorite... But slipping.”

The Seasons brand has been my favorite for years. My best customer service experiences have always come from a four seasons.

HOWEVER... This property has slipped considerably.

I have too many examples of poor service to list, so I'll include just the gem: After waiting excessively for my car to be brought up, and only after I approached the bellman... I was told that it was brought up and around the corner from where I was... WHAT? You bring up a car, hide it from the guest, and don't tell them that it's out of site? Did you actually expect me to divine its location?? This isn't a deal killer... But this and many of the rest of the staff DO NOT, have the four seasons attitude that to may hope for.

It is still a great hotel, one of the best in Canada, but it's value has diminished considerably.

“great hotel, outstanding service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

A truly wonderful property in the heart of beautiful Whistler. Staff is typical "Four Seasons", very professional, attentive. There is also an excellent concierge team to help out and give great advises !! The restaurant is excellent, one of the best in Whistler & buffet breakfast is absolutly delicious ..The rooms are spacious, well equipped and offer a pleasant view. The pool area may be a little small and can easily get crowded with unruly kids on the week ends though. Great massages and facials at the spa .Congratulations to the management team for achieving such perfect result..Will be back for sure !!

“Best of Whistler”

By far the nicest place there. The service, rooms and food are brilliant - truly a memorable place.

Room Tip: All rooms have fireplaces and have a nice view so not really.
