Stayed in Horstman House Suite 310. Experience was overall pretty good - bus is close, ability to ski out, Free Underground Parking, Large Outdoor Hot Tub. Only complaint was not having front desk staffed 24/7 was not a huge issue, but the morning of check out no one was at the front desk till about 9:30am.

We booked this room using the Entertainment book so we got a good deal, we also went during the week so it was much cheaper because of that. The location is great if you enjoy snowshoeing and xcountry skiing as it is just a short walk down the road. If you are a skier you can walk to the Blackcomb Day Lodge but its about a 10 minute walk. The free shuttle/bus (number 5) takes you there and comes very frequently both during the day and at night which makes getting to and from the village very convenient.

The hotel itself is very quiet and the staff at the front desk were very helpful. The hot tub and pool were never too crowded and the other guests were very friendly. The room was much bigger than we expected and it was very nice to have a full sized kitchen (with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, dishes and cooking utensils, and fridge). The eating area and sitting area were spacious and the couch was very comfortable, the gas fireplace was also a nice surprise. The bathroom was very spacious and had both a tub and stand up shower (separately).

The only complaints we had were that the pillows were not that great and the bed was only ok. It didn't make us sore but I've slept in more comfortable hotel beds before.

Great resort if you like the hustle of Whistler without the noise and crowds. VERY peaceful and quiet yet a 15 min walk to the Village or a free shuttle bus right in front of the resort. Great pool, gym, jacuzzi and great mountain charm. We stayed in #203 a Big one bedroom and loved the views and space. With washer and dryer in the unit it was great after a day of skiing. The people are great and it does NOT have a hotel feel, instead you feel like your at home.

Love it and love the feeling of being in the mountains and not being in the crowded village.
