At first glance, this is a nice looking hotel. The rooms are well appointed, and the free internet access is a help with two teenagers. With the location being only a 5-10 minute walk to the lifts, it's really not that bad, and the distance from the town lessens the noise from the revelers at night, though with very young children, the walk to the lifts could be a disadvantage.
There really isn't much that marks the hotel down other than the initial greeting we received, which was rather poor. With no bellboy (not a big issue really), and not much in the way of information as to what was around (both hotel and town), we had to find all this out for ourselves. The showers are VERY poor. Hardly any pressure at all, and after a day on the slopes, that's not what you want. The noise from other guests can be an issue, making the doors seem to be made of paper. The last few days we were there, the noise in the halls from alcohol fueled people was enough to keep us awake (mostly at 2am). The only other issue was the cleaners seemed to like to have their meeting right outside our door in the mornings. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, though on the days that we had a rest day, with the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door, you'd think they would get the hint.
Overall, nice place, generally friendly staff and good location.
