Its good thing we were paying the 'last minute deal" rate or I would be very ticked off, furnishings are very dated and welll worn, duvet cover was disgustingly dirty, internet yes but via cable, dvd player didn't work, tv's ancient and in an awkward cabinet to view, everything you read about the parking is true, a cash grab at $20 per day, I drive a small SUV and took up 2 spots so we could open the doors and get out,yes units are individualy owned but come on do some updating that's what stratas are for!

The lodge is very clean and we have a cal king bed. It is not a typical hotel room, but more like an apartment unit. There is kitchen, washer and dryer...everything a small home has. It is good for a small family. We feel comfy and relax during our stay. The not so good thing is the water in the shower is slow and no pressure at all. But you can manage to have a shower with no problem. We just stay in the unit near to the entrance. We can hear people talking near that, but guests there are very cooperative, they will be very quiet after 10 pm. The security there is very good too. Oh, the other not so good thing is you have to check-in in an other location becuase there is no front desk in the lodge.

I must say that i really enjoyed the location. The pool and hottub were functioning well all services were well maintained. Our room had good furnishings and decent kitchen supplies. I would recommend this place to anyone......i realize that we stayed during a peak period however while we would consider the place as " very good" there is a part of me that feels we didn't get the value for what we paid. But i guess that's Whistler for ya.
