Not so good location, but good cafe on site, comfortable beds and very clean.

Internet constantly cutting out, weak signal and barely any connection resulted in annoyance for myself and others around me suffering from the same problem.
the rooms were definately cramped with 4 fully grown men struggling to fit in the room, and the so called cupboards for luggage only able to hold the smallest of suitcases/bags.
security was excellent, as was the kitchen although it did close at midnight which sucked for those waiting for transfers out or those just arriving. room to shelve/fridge personal food and ability to make whatever you wanted thanks to facilities.
fairly close to the mountains, bus comes regularly. shops within village were excellent.
hot water was hard to come by in the showers thanks to dodgy plumbing - the hot water came out when between hot and cold levels, not on the hot level. no information on this given until 3rd day...
8 men sharing one toilet and one shower also proved difficult and most of the time required using other toilets in the building to accommodate everyone.

We got a private room for ourselves and 13 month old baby.
The room was fine and very clean. It was near the end of a hall. despite this, our sleep was regularly interrupted by very excitable youngsters who were returning from their night out, at 2.30-6am.
The communal areas were good, albeit a bit cramped compared to many other hostels.
Free parking was nice. Location - not near Whistler village - really too far to walk.
Kitchen facilities were OK, although the quality of things like knives was poor. Fellow hostel-ees struggled with the concept of cleaning up after themselves, when they returning for the 'munchies'. Good value for Whilster.

Excellent hostel! Modern, clean, comfortable. Couldn't ask for much more. The only drawback is that it is a little out of the way, but the bus system is easy to use.
