“Business and Pleasure”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

Recently stayed at Glacier Lodge for a business function being held at the close by Four Seasons. Managed to book 3 nights at Glacier Lodge for much less than 2 nights at the special corporate rate would have cost us. Great location within walking distance to lifts but didn't find it noisy as some people had commented. Will stay there again!

“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

We booked this hotel for the location and the easy access to the mountain! We were advised that Whistler mountain can be a lot busier, especially in the mornings, so we opted to stay on the blackcombe side and get the peak to peak if we wanted during the day!

The location was amazing! A few steps away from the Wizzard chair that takes you straight up! There are some nice shops and restaurants around the hotel, we ate bfast around the corner each morning in a fab little cafe with amazing food! This was part of the hotel!

At night we took the 10 minute walk into Whistler village, this was nice after a long day skiing! And enjoyed the lively atmosphere in Whistler!
The rooms were big and very clean, all you could want for a ski holiday and the hot tubs were great! Reception was very friendly and we met alot of friends in the bars of the hotel!

The skiing was just out of this world!! We loved everyday on the mountain and did lots of other activities as well, the husky dogs and snow mobiles,
All in all an amazing holiday, would deffo recommend staying here and beating the crowds up the mountain in the mornings!

Make sure you do Fresh Tracks!!! ...book a taxi from the hotel to take you to the whistler gondola on that day! EARLY!! Well worth it!!!
Would deffo stay here again!! Would love to go back!!

“Great Location, but noisy.”

We picked Glacier Lodge for the location and price. It's an easy walk from this hotel to the lifts and you can store your equipment downstairs at the rental shop. Easy.

I really enjoyed the restaurant (Ciao Thyme) and the little pub (The Fitzsimmons Pub) inside the hotel. The pub was especially nice and cozy. It seems to be a nice local hangout.

The room was simple without any extras. It was clean, but only gets cleaned once every 4 days which wasn't a big deal. It would have been nice to have a little bar fridge or something like that. If I were to go back, I would get a room with a kitchenette. When staying for a week, its hard to eat out 3 meals a day everyday, and it gets expensive.

The biggest problem with this hotel is the noise. I could hear the tv in the next room with no problem. I could also hear people walking around above us all the time.

Not a bad stay, but pretty basic hotel.

Room Tip: Ear plugs if your a light sleeper.
