“No bells or whistles here but clean and comfy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Older building but clean and comfortable. I think they just renovated but still feels a little dated. It is a small hotel so it has a cozy feeling. I don't think there is valet service or anything like that. Bit of a trek if you want brewed coffee in the morning. I like coffee within 30mins of waking up so buy a small carton of milk and brew in your room. Unless you like old packs of coffee mate. The beans are decent so grab a bunch of packs from the front desk.

It is located next to my 2 favourite restaurants ever....Quattro and Hy's so dining out is easy.

Overall good simple place to stay in you are riding the mountain all day.

“Ok Location, Rooms rather dated, Ok for a long weekend”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

Nothing as such to complain about, but I think there are better places for the money.

One gripe was a oung (early 20s) Irish girl with very little customer service skills refused to allow check in until 1500hrs as per the rules - apprently no exceptions can be made.

Pretty thoughtless service when they knew I was coming early from HK as stated on original email. I wouldnt have biooked this if I'd known.

Fundamentally lacking in service skills overall. Management are just 'ticking over the business' dont really feel they care about what people feel here.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I would like to personally apologize for not having a room available to you upon your arrival. We do strive to meet early check in requests but are unfortunately not able to do so in all cases. We are quite proud of the service levels that we provide but in this situation we fell short and again I must apologize. Best regards, John.

“For Whistler......A good deal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

Super friendly staff. Good room. Quiet heating. Friendly housekeepers. Steps to village walkway, bus to ski lifts and Grocey Store. Room had stove, small dishwasher etc. everything to cook with except pots and pans! Ski storage on ground floor too.

Only moan and I have this with a lot of hotels is parking fees. I paid $229 a night plus $15 for parking. At $229 a night parking should free? But for once no fee for Internet in rooms. Wi-Fi worked great.

I appreciate your time in posting a review of our hotel. We have a great team here at the Pinnacle and love it when our service is mentioned. Although charging for parking is standard in Whistler, please let me know when you are returning and I would be more than happy to provide parking to you at no charge. All the best, John.

“Pinnacle is the place for the PRICE!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

Yes it is a little further away from the lifts but the walk is really not a problem only a 10 minute walk. There are lots of resturants and shops and bars all surrounding the hotel. One of the best features is that you can have the option to have a large jacuzzi tub in your room. Very nice!. Also a small kitchenette. The hotel is very quiet and offers a ski shop in the same builing which gives discounts to lodgers. The one drawback which was an inconvenience and not too accomadating was that they did not offer free internet/computer service. Most hotels today offer this and having this service coin operated and not run by the hotel was not customer friendly and a nuisance. Outside of that we enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of our Canadian hosts. We would probably stay here again. If you come by car ask to include free parking into your rate otherwise it is $15 a day. Overall great value.

Thank you so much for posting your review and we are very appreciative of your kind words. We are happy to provide complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel to our guests but unfortunately we do not have complimentary computer usage at the moment, but will certainly take this under consideration. Again, thank you for your review. Warm regards, John.

“Excellent place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We Stayed here in November and had a great time. The place is very close to the village but just outside enough to not here the hustle and bustle from the night club crowds.

The room was clean and very cozy, the jacuzzi was a great touch.

I would gladly stay here again.
