We stayed at many B&Bs on a recent rip to Canada and Alaska, most of which were very good indeed, but Ambrosia was certainly the best of the best. Location is ideal with a very easy walk to centre of downtown area, the Empress, Museum, Parliament House and the waterfront. Our room, bathroom and spa were beautifully presented and very comfortable. Bob and Dawna were wonderful hosts and breakfast each day was sumptuous to say the least. Great B& B and wonderful stay.

We spent two nights at the Ambrosia to celebrate my birthday during August 2011 and it was a fabulous trip. The Inn was very clean and comfortable and I absolutely loved our room. Bob made excellent dinner suggestions (I would especially recommend the French restaurant a few blocks away if it is good weather to sit on their patio), booked a whale watching trip for us, and helped us get familiar with the layout of the city.

The location was great - we had no car but being only a few blocks from the water, we were in quieter neighborhood but a short walk from the attractions and great meals. The Inn is also very close to a wonderful park that had multiple great dirt running trails. There was a close ocean popular ocean front trail just through the park. Both mornings Donna cooked us an amazing, delicious breakfast.

We have stayed in lots of b&bs and I don't usually write reviews (usually just read everyone elses :X), but as this was a notably great experience, felt the need to share!

Wonderful food beautifully presented on pretty plates in lovely dining room. Home has gorgeous antiques. spotless, Owners gave us useful tips and were very helpful in every way. Room had outstanding bedding and lovely soaps and shampoos, etc.Bathroom was huge with jetted tub and double headed shower. Cannot beat location and is lovely and quiet bordering two parks.

We stayed at the Ambrosia Bed and Breakfast for three nights and had the nicest stay we could have planned. The owners were wonderful hosts, they went out of their way to ensure we would have the perfect visit and she is an extremely talented chef. The breakfasts we enjoyed were some of the best food we had during our entire time in Victoria.

The building was originally constructed in the early 1900s and looks like the exact sort of structure one would expect in Victoria. It had a lot of modern touches. A great bed, perfect temperature, very clean and free wifi. Not to mention that Ambrosia is about a ten minute stroll from the inner harbor and all the shops and attractions.

The shower was fantastic, room was adorable and chocolates in the room were replenished daily. They were helpful and accurate with all our questions about the area, whale watching and sight-seeing. I slept great and the entire vacation was enhanced by staying at Ambrosia.
