There are two guest suites above Willie's Bakery, in the heart of downtown Victoria. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Red Suite for 3 nights. It's in a great location, close to the water & a brewpub, oh and you get certificates to eat at the lovely bakery each morning (or for lunch I assume)- and it's not just baked goods, they do a great omelet. The only quibble I have is the lack of darkness, the drapes are minimal, and the large window overlooking Wattington Alley doesn't have any kind of window treatment. It's a quirky little apartment, with windows on the side of the bedroom overlooking the kitchen and a large (again) BRIGHT skylight! When the twilight lasts till 10pm, and it gets light at 5am, there could be issues (bring eyeshades!) Other than that, it's just lovely. Only heard minimal pots and pans sounds from the bakery early in the am, unfortunately no baking aromas! I thought it a good value, and it sure wasn't a plastic room, it had lots of character! Full kitchen, small fridge. You'll enjoy it as much as we did, I hope.
