The location of this hotel is very close to Chinatown, Bastion Square, shops on the Goverment Street.....
The staffs at the front desk are very nice and accommodating.

I stayed here with some friends during a road trip over Labor Day Weekend. We had a room with two king beds on the third floor. The hotel staff were wonderful and friendly, and even pointed us in the right direction toward activities (short walk to China Town). I was worried about the quality after looking at the outside, but everything was clean, fresh, and worked. What more could you ask for at this price? The biggest bonus was the free secured parking.

Two tips:
1) Don't forget your room key if you want ice.
2) check the exact name and address of your hotel... there are at least 3 Traveller's Inns on Douglas within 2 blocks of eachother.

I stayed here on the way to the north of Vancouver Island as the Greyhound bus services didn't run late enough for me to connect after I'd got into Victoria from the ferry.

Whilst the hotel is technically in the downtown area it's still a fair walk from the bus station and not great if you have lots of luggage with you. It's easy enough to find though. The hotel is basic, rooms are fairly small with outdated decor. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable but I was pretty disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, try and find something closer to the centre if you can.
