Stayed here for 5 days for meetings, fantastic location right down town. Had a top floor harbour view room, great king matress. Watch the seaplanes taking off and Dragon boats in the harbour. Beautiful decor, very friendly staff, really nice fitness centre. Pool was out of service for the duration of my stay.

I stay here quite often and as a regular you notice that things were getting tired not run down but well used so the Delta has come up with the answer
By late spring all rooms will have been renovated add to the location and you have a very nice property to stay in
Love the new decor and colours and sleek modern design througout the room.The beds are great the bathroom well done
The Lounge and restaurant offer great views and a nice overall ambience
I have allways found the staff to provide excellent service
Good gym
The oceanfront walkway is a favorite of ours for a stroll to Spinnakers for a snack and beverage.
I wont hesitate to stay here again for any occasion

We stayed here with our daughter for a couple of nights this past summer. We came in on the Victoria Clipper from Seattle and it was a nice, easy walk from the ferry terminal, through town, across the bridge to the Delta. If you're not up for the walk, or have luggage, it's a short stroll to the water taxi pick up, where you can catch a water taxi across the harbour directly to the front door of the hotel.
The hotel is beautiful, inside and out! It almost looks like a castle and fits the ambiance of Victoria, with it's beautiful, historic buildings. Check in was quick and easy and they were sooo friendly and sweet to our daughter. They even had a little welcome package for her, which she absolutely loved! Our room was not a view room, but for the money, it was very comfortable. The beds were heavenly, the bathroom was large and nice and the room was very cozy and clean. The pool is quite nice and it's nice to be able to lounge outside if the weather is cooperative. They have very nice locker rooms, a sauna and a fitness room as well.
The concierge was very friendly and helpful. We were looking for kid friendly activities and she had some great ideas that we loved! (The Bug Zoo sounds silly, but we all loved it!) The concierge also has a fun scavenger hunt around the hotel for kids. Once they complete it, she has a little prize for them!
As I said, the Delta is a really nice walk into town. There are some homeless folks hanging around, but they were harmless and friendly. We were able to walk all the way from the Delta to Fisherman's Wharf on the other side of the Harbour with a small child with ease. Victoria is a very walkable city.
We loved the Delta and would definitely stay here again! I highly recommend it if you have little ones.....super kid friendly!

My husband and I stayed in a deluxe room with full harbour view, for two wonderful nights near the end of August 2011. It was a wonderful stay. We had a full and unobstructed view of the harbour allowing us to watch all the comings and goings of boats, seaplanes, kayaks, and ferries. We thoroughly enjoyed our two late afternoon 'happy hours' in front of the bay window where we could watch to our hearts content as well as listen to the seagulls and other birds. The room was very clean (essential) and nicely appointed. We walked everywhere! All along the waterfront (on a beautiful walkway) in both directions, around the city, Beacon Hill Park, and in and around the residential area of Fairfield. The hotel's ideal and stunning location played a key role in our decision to explore on foot. All staff were very friendly and welcoming - from the front desk staff to the fellow vacuuming. We enjoyed our breakfasts at Lure - what a view and what a way to begin the day. We had a very late, light dinner at Lure one evening and thoroughly enjoyed the setting, the food, and again, the staff.
This was a spur of the moment 'holiday' and by the end of our forty eight hours, the hotel, staff, and surrounding environment made us feel like we had won the lottery.
