“A very nice little home away from home!”

We were in Vancouver for medical reasons and were looking for a place that would feel like home while we were in the city. We didn't want to eat out everyday and found the comforts of our own kitchen wonderful. We had everything we needed in our suite and the property manager went above and beyond our expectations. We stayed in suite 2, which was lovely. Very comfy and cozy feeling with the various antiques decorating the rooms. It also had a private entrance through it's own patio area which proved helpful to us travelling with pets.... also in summer it would be a lovely place to sit back and relax with a glass of wine and a book. Very good location and close to numerous downtown activites, parks and restaurants. Stanley park is only a few blocks away and an easy and beautiful walk. Should we need a place to stay in Vancouver again we would definately be back!

“Right in the middle of all you could need - or want!”

The Langtry is the great...but Dean (the Manager) is even better! Friendly, efficient and knows what 'customer satisfaction/service' is all about! I stayed in Suite 6 which is just right for one - or two. Comfortable, clean and has a dishwasher.
The Langtry is a small, cozy, stylish apartment building with modern ammenties. Off-street parking in the busy west-end is a bonus! However, with the convenient location - no vehicle required!
Other ammenities such as telephone (with voice mail), wireless internet, tv with extra cablevision channels, dvd player, hairdryer, communal washer & dryer are a huge plus too. You can use a fitness center located a few blocks away.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this delightful daily, weekly or monthly rental to anyone.

“A peaceful clean city retreat.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2009

We rented this unit for our daughter and and partner over Christmas. They were in unit 5 the one bedroom. It is spacious and light located on the top floor.Well appointed ,clean and ideally situated.Walking distance to Stanley Park and English Bay and an easy walk or quick bus ride to the downtown core.We were able to have a sitdown Christmas dinner by putting the two tables together in the livingroom. it would be large enough and comfortable for a family of 4 as it has a murphy bed in the livingroom.we would book this property again in a heartbeat.

“Great experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2009

A great place to stay in the centre of Vancouver. Quiet area except from a Fire station in the neighborhood. But that was like once in our 3 weeks stay. As a European, it was a great way to get close to the people living there.

“For long-term stay, Wouldn't Stay ANYWHERE else in Vancouver”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 June 2009

March 2009: another fabulous month at The Langtry. This is our fourth long-term stay, and will definitely not be the last. With the outlandish cost of most accommodation in Vancouver, finding a gem such as The Langry has provided us with an annual home-away-from-home. The apartment is well priced and perfectly located to take in all that the West End and beyong has to offer. Within easy walking distance of Stanley Park, English Bay, the seawall, Denman and Davie St restaurants and nightlife, Robson St shopping, what more could one ask for. A short stroll along the seawall will take you across the bay to the wonderful market on Granville Island.

We always book The Stanley Park suite which has its own private outdoor patio - wonderful when the sun shines. The apartment' is spacious, especially with the "second bedroom" converted to a very pleasant office. The furnishings are comfortable and the feather bed a special treat. Within a half hour of arriving we always feel completely at home. The kitchen is fully equipped but if you find anything missing all you need do is ask. The new manager Dean is professional and friendly in every way - a real pleasure to deal with him from start to finish. The free membership at the Denman Gym is a complete bonus and kept us from gaining too much weight given all the great restaurants in the area... or just spending a quiet evening at "home" dining at the table overlooking the hawthorn trees lining NIcola Street -- all of it makes for a wonderful holiday accommodation - either short -or long-term. Steve, the co-owner, is a wonderful guy who will invite you to check out the great menu at his sports bar on Davie.
We've always found the accommodation clean and well kept. Absolutely no complaints. All in all we could not recommend this accommodation higher. (in fact, have hesitated writing a review for so long so we could keep this our own "little secret."
